New in-person events for Frog Con 2025 incoming!!!🐸🎪

Frog Con 2025 will be hopping off your screen and to Kouhigh Toys in Los Angeles (USA) and Copycat Studio in Vancouver (Canada) later this year for two in-person events in addition to our usual online programming!! We will have a mini artist alley at each of these locations, and some fun activities as well!  We're so excited to be able to host more in-person events this year, and are very grateful to Kouhigh Toys and Copycat Studio for offering your spaces to make this a reality.

Exact dates are to be confirmed. Expect to see us at Kouhigh Toys in September and Copycat Studio in October! 

We will open Artist applications for these in-person events from May 10-24! Selection will be by jury, and local artists are preferred.

Welcome to the FREE online convention celebrating and raising funds for our adorable little friends – frogs! Join us in October 2025 for a froggy Artist Alley, panels, games, music, and more! This is our 4th ever Frog Con, and we're so excited to be back!!

feelings about social media

after opening instagram like i do once in a blue moon, i recently thought to myself — why have i been doomscrolling on youtube this whole time when i could have been looking at cute art and checking in with friends instead?

i think i still feel a lot of pressure when i look at other artists work — not from them but from within myself — to get working on new merch, reopening my store, to draw, to interact, etc. and as much as making frog stuff is my hobby it unfortunately feels like work as well, which is probably why i've slowly separated myself from social media over the years.

that said every time i open social media i really miss seeing everyone's work, following new artists (or following back friends that i've completely missed cuz i'm never on!!!), and just interacting with more artists and fans like i used to. hopefully now that i've recognized it i can separate the negative feelings and get back more (and stop doomscrolling on youtube!!)

anyways i also miss ranting like this 😅 i hope you guys don't mind too much! i'd love to start posting more here on tumblr as well
