Im filled with whimsy because I have ignored what most would say cringe because I gave ryland grace a toddler whom he single parents with all the love and affection ever where nothing bad ever happens to them and sometimes he gets help from his best friemd from college rocky and his wife adrian and then thought "I should give the blonde father daughter duo more love" and decided to throw simon in there and now my au has become science teacher and ex military guy/cult escapee are co parenting a 2 year old girl who says that Simon has to braid her hair bc "papa does it better than daddy does"

And the best part is I dont even care that its cringe bc I am filled with so much joy and whimsy from my stupid little gay dads and the eccentric aunt and uncle and you'll never experience as much joys and whimsy as me right now

So. When i first saw the trailers for this movie I was like "wow cheap kids movie prolly. This is gonna be mid i bet." And didnt pay any mind to it. Then a couple days later I was invited to go see it with my friend and his family, promising that I will cry. Seeing as I had nothing better to do, thinking I absolutely wont cry, I go.

I cried 4 times. Maybe 5.

Then I left thinking like "Wow! I really really liked that movie! It was better than I thought! When it comes out on DVD I'll get it and share it with my family!"

Then Instagram caught a sniff of the fact that I liked this movie. (I liked a singular reel.) And now this has turned into... bad. Bad bad bad.

This is now a hyper fixation, I am bombarded with phm on Instagram and YouTube, I have created Ryland grace on tomodachi life and given him simon from iron lung to be his boyfriend. I am drawing again. Rocky. I purchased the audiobook despite not liking science talk. This is not good. This is bad. This is becoming a hyperfixation.

aka, ponyboy is from the ripe old year of today and watched grease at one of the last drive ins in the south with Soda, became obsessed with the 60s greaser vibe, read other realistic fictions from the 60s, became super knowledgeable and created the entire story from his friends. but like dramatized everything

Dally stole a pack of cigarettes once so now he's a felon

Johnny has a neglegtive houshold but not entirely abusive, but thats boring so ABUSE and also he made a joke about killing himself once during the "mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell unit" and the teacher scolded him ("Mr Cade! Sixteen years is not long enough, I never want to hear something like that come out of your mouth again!") and pony thought it was really funny so yeah

Two-bit got really drunk at a party ONE TIME and now he's an alchoholic

Darry flicked ponys head too hard

Soda failed one test

Steve is very confused. "What the hell! I thought we were friends, man!"

and they all pile at the curtis house and play roblox on sunday mornings on varying degrees of technology including but not limited to Dally's crusty ass iphone and Two-Bits laptop from 2008 that sounds like a helicopter crashing
