Opted to begin reading Han Kang's The Vegetarian last night. Exclaimed "holy shit" by page 57. Ignored sleep until page 94 when my eyes forced themselves shut. I finished it moments ago. I'm stimulated and inspired as I tend to hope for in the art or entertainment I consume, but I have this strong urge to cry.
Anyway, I totally recommend The Vegetarian. However, if you have an issue with eating, you may want to consider skipping it.
Been off since Friday. Go back in Wednesday.
Made a cherry pie and made about four dozen corn tortillas.
I forgot to slit the pie and used too much flower, but it was fine despite.
First two dozen corn tortillas were okay, but second two dozen were probably the best I've ever made.
[i was afraid of the masa harina going bad, hence the quantity.]
Tagged by @vavistus to share three songs I've been listening too lately:

綺羅(KIRA)- ADO
Timekiller (And One Remix) - Project Pitchfork
Hyperlinks for those of you floating on Spotify.

Only folk allowed to call me Coolyn are Latin grandmas and Karina the Uber Eats driver. Everybody else can go to hell.
Howdy.
I'm back to circling and not spiraling. I feared I was going to blow my top more than anything else. Tumblr is unfun to browse when signed out, so I signed back in.
Until a few things improve, I'll be away.
[y'all stay out of too much trouble.]

I yelled "FUCK YOU DIAGO" at the screen as Kiryu hit him with a Tiger Drop to end the fight. Diago does this annoying counter in the later phase that kindly irked me.
Recently finished Yakuza 4 after two years. I didn't feel like leveling up for the boss fights at the time, so abandoned the game and moved on to 5. 4 is fine. Still not a fan of the Saejima combat. They could have done better to Hana.

“boghz (بغض) has no exact equivalent in english. it names an embodied state where grief, anger and humiliation accumulate without release. it is felt as a tightening in the throat and chest. a blockage of breath and speech. it is the pain of what cannot be said, cried or acted upon. it is an emotion lodged in the body that words cannot convey.”
