“Are ya offering me food?” comes the sharp voice, ears flicking as he looks up, gaze falling over the girl before him. “…Well, I suppose a girl as pretty as ya… I can’t say no, aye?” He gives a small wink and a grin, going to reach out for the dessert she had offered, before pulling back. Gaze went to the floor. Maybe he shouldn’t be doing that.(Thanks for the ask! Will be reblogged to Zen’s page~)

“I am! It’s really yummy!” She sat down, without an invitation because what was that? She sat a spoon down and held a second one, digging into the sundae and taking a bite, maybe to prove it wasn’t poisoned or something… also because she loved sundaes.

He watched her sit, a small smile forming for a brief moment before he quickly covered it up. He reached for the spoon that was sat beside him, watching her eat the ice cream before the pair. It was strange, yet comforting. So, he dug the spoon in and began to eat himself, although a hint of confusion was in his voice as he spoke. “So why ya sharin’ somethin’ so yummy with someon’ like me?”

She was thrilled when he took a bite, her tail waving around excitedly. A couple more bites were had before she answered, “Becuase everyone deserves a little dessert and it’s much better with friends! And you looked like you might like a sundae.” She nodded, a simple enough answer, followed by a bite and her own question, “Why wouldn’t I share?”

He hummed a little, continuing to eat for a few moments before he reached into his pocket, pulling out what looked like a deck of cards. “Ya think? I guess you’re right, although I don’t particul’y have anyone I’d call a friend. I’m quite the loner, ya see.” He didn’t seem saddened by it at all, flicking through the cards in his hand before drawing one and placing it on the table. “Temperance. Combination, co-operation and co-ordination. I can see that in you.”
