The Raven was written in early 2012 by Chelsea, Brandon, and Tom. A demo was recorded and released in B standard, then re-recorded and placed on the Luna EP in A standard. This was the first song Embracing Soul wrote with the vocal melody before the guitar riffs. #SongFacts

Embrace the Music - The Luna EP Press Release

(Toronto, ON) – Sunday July 8th, 2012 – Female fronted rock band Embracing Soul released their newest EP entitled ‘Luna’ to promote their music in online. They set the album up for digital distribution on Bandcamp. This download comes in a file of your choice, along with the artwork and lyrics. All funds from the independent project go directly towards paying for the band’s upcoming expenses.

Lead singer Chelsea Pisano says, “We worked really hard to record and promote the music ourselves, and we’re really excited to see the response; there’s been a big wait for it!” The EP is available for $5 with a donate option, should you choose to donate more to the band.

Embracing Soul’s music style incorporates aspects of gothic rock, with hints of melodic death metal and progressive metal. The 5 song EP has pushed their sound even further and they aim to bring this sound back onto the stage in the Toronto scene soon.

Embracing Soul is Chelsea Pisano (vocals, bass), Brandon Iajecznyk (guitar, vocals), and Thomas Collier (guitar).

We now offer all the same Management services under our mgmt arm, however, we also offer everything for sound as well! This includes recording, mixing, mastering, sound design, soundtracks for film, and session musicians! Take a look at our revised page!

Canadian Music Week

This week marks the event of Canadian Music Week (CMW) 2012!  An important event in Canada for bands and musicians, some of which, come from around the world!

This year, I will be stage manager at the venue The Neutral Lounge Wednesday to Saturday. Come check out some of the awesome talent that will be on that stage throughout the week!!
