Apollo was the last song to be written for the Luna EP. It was originally going to be entirely instrumental, until some lyrics were written and fell perfectly into the song. It was named ‘Apollo’ after the god of music.

Immortal was recorded for a second time to be released in better quality on the Luna EP. It also appears on the Shadow demo from 2010 as a single. Chelsea, Brandon, and Tom wrote Immortal when they were 15 years old. The first time this song was played live, Brandon was on drums and Chelsea on guitar.

Luna’s guitar was written almost entirely in one day. The vocal melody is in a diminished half-whole scale; making it sound quite evil. This is a rare song where the lyrics (written by Chelsea) were actually written based on someone else’s life. She found a friend’s story so touching that it deserved its own song.

The Raven was written in early 2012 by Chelsea, Brandon, and Tom. A demo was recorded and released in B standard, then re-recorded and placed on the Luna EP in A standard. This was the first song Embracing Soul wrote with the vocal melody before the guitar riffs. #SongFacts
