What do you think about tails selfcest?

SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! tailscest is such an untapped well tbh, one i see getting a bit of attention lately is metalworks, nine x boom!tails which is soooo yummy ❤️

i think any prime variant of tails x canon tails is really good, i can totally picture mangey nine and sails being hella bad boyfriends to him. basically only seeing tails as property and not really being interested in a "relationship" outside of being able to claim him. tails is deluded though, fully believing he's in love and loved in turn, so he turns a blind eye to the way they start isolating and objectifying him.

mangey is just super feral and doesn't really understand love outside of mating so that's the only thing they really do together. if he's not trying to knock tails up with his offspring he's likely out hunting for nourishment for the pups he's certain are coming, getting upset when tails strays from whatever den they've built together.

sails might not be as bad as him but he's definitely cut from a similar cloth to dread, so it's an eyes on the prize mentality for him when it comes to being with tails. getting to claim him before anyone else can basically. assuming sails grew up on this ship with this crew it's probably what he knows best. of course he's a little better about it, at least has the sense to be flirtatious and sweet when he wants to but most of the time it's don't speak unless spoken to, arm around tails' waist, pulled close to his side, parading his treasure around.

nine would be the most interesting in that he wouldn't feel entitled or bonded to tails like the other two, instead i feel like he'd keep him because he doesn't think tails deserves to have anybody else. especially sonic. there's little to no real love going on in this scenario, probably a lot of verbal/emotional/physical abuse stuff going on. everything he does to tails is for his own good kind of mentality. i could see tails eventually developing stockholm syndrome in that case, even not wanting to leave nine if he were given the opportunity because those little crumbs of affection, be it sexual or just downright toxic, truly make him think that nine loves him, that he can't just leave his partner because he can fix him, et cetera, all the motions

i think nine would claim tails if not to lure sonic then just to spite him. like "you had your chance to love me and you threw it away for him, so now you don't get either of us". it's definitely petty but nine loves watching sonic squirm, making him stew in his own thoughts and actions to hopefully bring him to a sense of regret for throwing him away. if he ever did feel some kind of feelings for tails it would be the validation of the attention and the nurturing he gets from him, the way tails is willing to do anything he wants for him after a time. something sonic would never do.
