@illyrianbird
just finished one day i never watched the movie so i went in blind. that show has ruined my life i love it.
If you enjoy really good book to screen adaptations, slow burn love stories, flawed and complicated characters, great cinematography, and a pretty British white boy crying, pleaaase watch One Day. It's such a good mini series i finished it all in one day and now I want to talk about it
ONE DAY (2024) "Episode 3"
The Night Court on Twitter
Feyre:
Rhysand:
Nesta:
Cassian:
Azriel:
Morrigan:
Elain:
Amren:
i can completely understand not liking a certain character, we all have preferences, its perfectly normal.
but if you don't like feyre you're automatically the problem, not her. i don't make the rules sorry
one of the biggest misconceptions about rhysand is that he's greedy for power and is jealous of anyone who's more powerful than him.
he quite plainly does not give a fuck and is perfectly content with whatever he has in his arsenal. he's confident with his abilities and has only ever expressed concern over not being powerful enough when everything he holds dear is being threatened.
like trust me that man is not sitting around bursting blood vessels being angry that he doesnt have all the power and magic in the world. at the end of the day all he wants is to do is just chill in his city with his wife and his baby and you know, not be attacked and threatened by anyone with the power to do so.
FORESHADOWING IN ACOTAR YOU MAY HAVE MISSED
*Spoilers*
1. Feyre painted the night sky on her drawer in the cottage.
2. Feyre had heard of Rhysand long before she met him. She recalled hearing of âOne High Fae that could turn your bones to dust from a hundred yards away.â
3. One of the first things Lucien says to Feyre is that her eyes âare like stars.â
4. When first arrived at the Spring Court, Feyre unknowingly dresses herself in Night Court colours. (A dark blue tunic, another tunic âone of purple so deep it could have been black.â)
5. When Lucien and Feyre encounter the Bogge, Feyre distracts herself by thinking of âa starry, unclouded night sky, peaceful and glittering and endless.â
6. Rhysand appears as a âshadow I could never quite glimpseâ in Feyreâs nightmares before they met. âBehind me - a shadow lurked - no, watched. I didnât dare turn to look at it, to see who might be within the shadows, observing.â
7. Amarantha appeared in Feyreâs nightmares before she knew of her, as a âA pale, faceless woman dragging her bloodred nails across my throatâ - a nightmare of Rhysands perhaps?
8. When the Suriel told Feyre to âStay with the High Lordâ, it didnât specify which High Lord.
9. When Tamlin takes Feyre to see the pool of starlight, she describes the setting filling her with âboth longing and mirthâŚit just seemedâŚright.â
10. Despite only having heard and not seen the Attor, Feyre manages to paint its exact image âa tall, skeletally thin gray creature with bat ears and giant, membranous wings.â How would she have been able to do this? Possibly an image from someone elseâs mind?
11. During Calanmai, Feyre disregards Tamlinâs order to stay in her room as âthere was a string - a string tied to my gut that pulled me towards those hills, commanding me to go, to hear the faerie drumsâŚâ âbut a wild wicked voice weaving in between the drumbeats whispered otherwise. Go, that voice said, tugging at me. Go see.â
12. The first thing Rhysand ever says to Feyre is âThere you are, Iâve been looking for youâ before telling the three lesser faeries, âThank you for finding her for me.â
13. During Feysandâs first encounter, Feyre thinks to herself Rhysandâs words âwere tinged with an arrogance that only an immortal could achieveâ to which he âlaughed under his breathâ having heard the insult.
14. When Feyre first drinks faerie wine, she describes it as âlike a million fireworks exploring inside of me, filling my veins with starlight.â
15. Still intoxicated she states she wants to swim in the night sky, âto bathe in its colours and feel the stars twinkling between my fingers.â
16. Tamlin and Feyre had their first kiss during the shortest night of the year.
17. Rhysand states âonly my prisoners and my enemies call me (Rhysand).â Itâs then interesting that Feyre refers to him as âRhysâ in her POV in moments when she can see beneath his villain mask. (And EXTRA interesting when she refers to him as such during their first kiss.)
18. When Rhysand senses Tamlin and Lucien have hidden Feyre âa flicker of excitement - perhaps disbelief - flashed across his features.â
19. Rhysand was the only person Under the Mountain that bet on Feyre slaying the worm.
20. Feyreâs bargain tattoo is similar to the Illyrian tattoos that are given for luck and glory.
21. When Rhysand dressed Feyre under the mountain he crowned her with a âsmall golden diadem imbedded with lapis lazuliâ - a stone that inspires confidence and is worn by royalty.
22. When Rhysand informs Amarantha of his bargain with Feyre, itâs also an act of defiance as he mentions the bargain is âfor the rest of her lifeâ, hinting he believes she will survive the remaining tasks.
23. Before the second trial, Rhysand dresses Feyre in a âblood orangeâ gown - a colour symbolising good fortune.
24. During their first mind convo, Rhysand says âGood girl.â (Not a fact, just hot tbh.)
25. When Rhysand sends the music to her cell, she unknowingly imagines Velaris and âa palace in the sky of alabaster and moonstone, where all that was lovely dwelled in peaceâŚeverything I wanted was there - the one I loved was there-â

"There is no such thing as a High Lady."
"There is now."
fictional men who have the âitâs okay to murder people but itâs never okay to disrespect womenâ energy>>>>>>>>
I just read âeach time you open a book and read, a tree smiles knowing there's life after deathâand OH MY GOD
Is anyone one of the OGs and have been around since 2015-2016 like me?
Am I the only one who misses when this series wasnât so popular? Or when all we had to talk about was how happy feysand made us and how we were so excited for nessian and Elriel when frost and starlight came out?
Like all talk of Nesta rejecting the bond and choosing Eris. ERIS!?!?!? Like what? Iâve been waiting since 2016 for my nessian endgame and if yâall want her to choose Eris so bad then silver flames was just a giant waste of a book.
Same thing goes for Azriel and Eris. Like thatâs just wrong. Yâall clearly have forgotten about their history. And the fact that Az was so focused on rescuing ERIS over GWYN should tell you all you need to know about gwynriel.
And everyone is arguing over gwyn this and gwyn that, and how it makes so much sense that the story can ONLY continue with her? Iâm sorry, but no. Makes zero sense. Like whereâs the love for Elain?
I just hate when I scroll through tik tok and thereâs all these videos about how Cassian is shit now and Nesta needs to be with Eris or how Elriels are the biggest delusional readers in the world.
Just makes me frustrated and I know Iâm not the only one. Almost 10 years this series has been in my life and itâs just exhausting sometimes.
Celeana hearing that Aelin is rasing an army against the king.
Not people mad at Rhys for stopping Azriel and Elain with this reason " He had no right to come between them ", " he pulled rank on az to force him to stop " when Azriel went and re-gave the necklace to Gweyn??
When it would've warrant a feud between Nc and Ac ?? Especially if Az wasn't đŻ gonna fight for her???
He wasn't insulting Az or making him feel undeserving of her love, he was just looking after he's court. Like any ruler should do. He doesn't have to "tell him gently when Az wasn't in the right mindset "
Stop attacking Rhys for every thing when Azriel is the one to blame here.
I mean if Elriel is endgame, Rhys gave you a forbidden love trope đ. Why are y'all madđ??
Just to be clear here: I'm a pro Elain. That's it . Idc who she ends up with.
SPOILERS FOR HOFAS
Ember I love that you're a girls girl, but the double standard on your part is irking.
She's mad at Rhys for being mad at Nesta for the same reason She's mad at Bryce.
He's a father , husband, and , ruler.
Like Bryce survived ik that but if she did not ,Nesta took a risk and that risk would've damned the people of Prythian. Velaris more since Bryce said the asteri had a vendetta against them.
Nesta unknowingly put all of them in danger. And she knows it ,it was just her pride that said " i don't answer to you or my sister " you're living in their court Miss.
And ember is biased in this scene. To those of you who are saying "Notice how an outsider is not hating on nesta or blah blah"
Since y'all love to compare ACOTAR to a modernized era. Nesta would've been imprisoned for giving a weapon to a stranger as it's considered a treason.
It doesn't mean it's hers because she's the only one who can wield it. If a scientist created a nuclear weapon, does it mean it's his/hers to do as he/she wish???
I actually like nesta's character here , and I initially didn't blame her for giving the Mask to Bryce .
But say what you want , in the ACOTAR perspective Nesta was in the wrong here. She gave a weapon to someone who can open a portal.
Rhysand my beloved they'll NEVER make me hate you
"Then eat."
