#okay but no i think a very important aspect is being overlooked #the script still has Alana there instead of Will but it makes a point of acknowledging that will had the POTENTIAL to be there #please i am trying to explain the murder family dynamics #will is the absent workaholic father #Abigail did not like him that much #she felt she barely knew him #but HANNIBAL was making a family and abigail LOVES Hannibal #she trusts him #hannibal is constantly trying to cultivate a relationship between will and abigail #will wants to be Abigail’s father in this episode but he’s too in his own head to be #Hannibal’s the one that does all the actual labor for the child #he cooks he cleans he schedules family activities he deals with Abigail’s emotions he comforts #will is a bad dad but the would never hurt his kid #Hannibal is a good one but he would hurt that kid #and that makes him an even worse parent but even harder to protect yourself one #hannibal constantly makes excuses for wills absentism and encourages Abigail to trust will #I gave you a child if you recall #will graham #hannigram #hannibal lecter #alana bloom #abigail hobbs #murder family
