Honestly, I cried when I saw ilomilo’s page reblogged my post. I was so emotional I couldn’t sleep a wink. I’ve been talking about it to everyone for a solid month! It had such a huge impact on me and really motivated me to get back to drawing this fan comic. Thank you for creating what is, in my opinion, the best game of all time.
help needed! report the ilomilo plus sign in bug to the microsoft feedback hub!
earlier this year, a bug emerged in ilomilo plus (the version of the game that can be played on windows devices). when you try to open the game while signed in to your xbox / microsoft account, the game gets stuck infinitely attempting to sign in. at least from what i have experienced, there is no way to bypass this, which makes the game unplayable.
if you have ilomilo plus and are also experiencing this issue, please take some time to make a bug report on microsoft’s feedback hub (installed as an application on your windows device) and upvote / comment on the posts that are already there! microsoft addresses feedback based on volume of submissions on a topic, so the more people we can get to submit a report and engage with other reports, the more likely it is that they will address this issue.
please spread the word however you can! let’s bring back ilomilo plus!
Update: This may have been fixed?
Microsoft appears to have fixed an issue with Windows 8 games, meaning Xbox achievements are unlocking in most Win 8 titles once more.
Still hasn't worked for me, though some people have gotten back in, so hopefully it's just a "the update is rolling out" thing & we can all get back to eating cube apple salads soon...

I just want to show you what I did a few days ago. I've been playing ilomilo since I was 6 years old, and only after many years did I discover that websites and blogs existed. It took a long time to convince my mother to buy the game back then, but she agreed, and when she did, I jumped for joy and spent the rest of my days playing it non-stop. For me, this will always be the best game I've ever played.
For some time now I've been working on a fanfiction-style comic inspired by ilomilo. Maybe someday I'll show it here. Just a note that I have great respect for all creators, But I'm a huge fan of this game and I really like comic books. So I decided to make the comic book myself so I could take ilomilo with me wherever I go. ❤️🩵

new ilomilo theme just dropped!! i based this one on the final story and end credits of the base game :”~D you can download it here using anemone / themeplaza on a modded ds!! i had a lot of fun making it :”~D
i haven’t made any new themes yet BUTTTTT if anyone has requests (ideally from ilomilo specifically but i could try to do themes for other stuff too maybe) lmk!! i think i’ll definitely make more in the future hehe. i also am waiting on approvals from themeplaza for a few more things that are not themes so stay tuned for that 👀 (apparently approval for those takes a long time so it could be a few months, who knows 🥲)

HELLO ILOMILO COMMUNITY!!! im sorry i completely abandoned this blog for like 1.5 years without saying anything lol 🥲 at the end of 2023 i decided to leave tumblr for the sake of my mental health. i'm still struggling, but i'm doing better than i was before, and i think i'm ready to try to start using tumblr again only for connecting with people around media that brings me joy... like ilomilo! this fandom (both on tumblr and outside of it) seems to have grown while i was gone which makes me so happy to see. i'm looking forward to continuing to celebrate this beautiful game with all of you!
when i last posted, i was working on some ilomilo projects: uploading all posts from the ilomilo devblog to this blog here, compiling information about every block and character in the game, and a secret third thing. i'm hoping to make progress on all of these things this year! i'm still not ready to tell you about the secret third thing but i've been slowly making progress on it while i've been gone and i hope to be able to share it with you someday not too far in the future :~D
i'll leave you with this: since i last posted here i moved and have finally been able to start decorating a space of my own, and i decided to treat myself to a couple ilomilo goodies to celebrate! the plushies are made by angelinalily and the turntable topper is made by (you guessed it) turntabletoppers! i hope to be able to add more ilomilo stuff to this shelf, including some of my own creations (i tried sculpting ilo and milo recently but it did not go well LOL) :~D
