Uzi experiments with her gender a bit after the series ends. At first it's nothing major, just something really casual like "huh I never thought about it" and doing some introspection.
Then she realizes she's a demigirl but doesn't wanna change her pronouns because it's "not a big deal" and doesn't think it's really worth it when she's just adding another change to their lives.
And finally she settles on just telling N and nobody else, because if nothing's going to really change then what's the point in bringing it up with anyone else, right? It's not like she's changing her name or pronouns after all. Why would they care?
And then N is so excited for her to learn this about herself, and she tells him he's the only one who'll ever really know. And he pauses, asking her if she's really sure? You don't want anyone else to know? It's something big about her after all, and obviously her choice, but he's confused on if they wouldn't be supportive of her if they knew, if that's why she doesn't want to tell them.
And Uzi's got nothing to base that on. She doesn't know. She didn't even think about that possibility on top of everything because she was so dead set on them NOT finding out, ever, and the spiral starts. Because would they abandon her again for it? Would everyone else??
She's dead set on only N knowing for the longest time, so freaking scared for ages, and honestly regretting telling even N because it wasn't even that big of a deal, she wasn't gonna die from anyone not knowing. She's FINE. (She's not fine.) And honestly it could be years later before she willingly tells anyone else.
But of course, they're more than okay with it. And Uzi needs a lot of time to really understand they're not lying to her. It's very emotional for her but she really tries to hide just how relieved she is for multiple reasons.
She does also end up changing pronouns, mostly to she/they to start once she is out.
