My head canon for Shego (based on Go team GO) is that she had to grow up fast due to the Rainbowcomet incident. She didn't grow up like other kids her age and instead was isolated until global justice deemed the GO siblings'powers 'safe'.

This will also tie in with an animatic I'm (slowly) working on at the moment.
