If it was “just a cap” why are the White House, MAGA accounts, and Fox News proudly using his image? Why are the very people who have spent years demonizing immigrants, spreading racism, and fueling hate celebrating it?

That’s the point.

You can argue about his intentions all day long. It doesn’t change who saw themselves represented in that image. It doesn’t change who’s using it as propaganda. And it certainly doesn’t undo the message it sends to immigrants and to everyone who’s spent years fighting for equality and equal rights.

And please stop with the whole “he’s just a dumb footballer” argument. Being a footballer doesn’t mean someone is above criticism or unaware of the impact their actions can have. These are public figures with millions watching them, and their choices carry weight.

just want to get my own feelings and perspectives for this upcoming 26/27 season

8 of our own players won the world cup, that is extraordinary!! it’s a huge achievement and that’s why i feel like this season the club will be very happy

i think that the positive emotional atmosphere, confidence and the hope these players bring will pollute the rest of the players (even those players not picked for the spain nt: balde, fort, casado, martin, fermin but he got injured)

not just speaking from my heart but also because of fact, the spain nt won the 2010 world cup with 7 barca players and for the 10/11 season won the champions league, la liga and the supercopa

i want the players to be happy and content with the performance that they displayed so wonderfully in the world cup and carry it to the upcoming season, with that i believe that we can win la sexta
