☆ 10 THINGS I'VE LEARNED THE HARD WAY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO ☆
1. Strict diets are great for a week or two. Doing them for a long time makes you binge, gain/maintain due to metabolic issues and if you lose weight, its muscle... You'll get skinny fat.
2. If constipated, eat. Like, so fucking much.
3. Holy trio: Fiber, protein, carbs aka: gut health, muscle health and energy.
4. Taste everything, eat nothing (thanks L.S.) This is actually so helpful for those who wanna lose weight and for those with BED. You can have ANYTHING. Just portion it right!
5. Punishing yoursel = anxiety, anxiety = binging. Just continue like nothing happened.
6. Its okay to be tired and skip a walk or exercise. Listen to your body. Don't break yourself.
7. Your direction is much more important than the outcome itself. If you're taking action on losing weight, you're already doing great. Never let set backs or other people bring you down.
8. The slower the better. Weight lost fast is weight you're gonna gain back plus more. I've done this mistake over and over again for 6 years. Only now succeeding. If you lose slowly, it'll stay off.
9. If your goal is to be successful in life, you have to keep your body healthy. Even when your mind isn't... If you want to be a ballerina, a rider, gymnastic or just a great student, you have to keep yourself healthy as possible.
10. You're sick enough. Even if you don't want to die from this. Even if your gw isn't "low enough ", even if you're bigger than others, even if your household only provides fast foods and other stuff, even if you don't know what type of ëď you have. If there's something wrong, there's something wrong. Period.
