We live in a stream of stereotyped expectations.
We live in a stream of thoughts, actions, events. Sometimes you wake up and it seems to you that you have no one to share your emotions and thoughts with. It seems to you that there are no relatives "to your liking". Sometimes I think that I don’t understand many people, and people don’t understand me.
“People” are those who know me, who love me. These are the ones to whom I treat with great respect and love. These are people who are with me online or offline.
I guess I'm selfish and think only of myself. There was a time when I thought about others, but that didn't make my life better. And it didn’t make the life of the people dear to me any better. Now I think about myself. And the people around me feel better.
But I became more lonely in my thoughts and actions. Or maybe it seems to me so. Perhaps this is because I began to do, to a greater extent, what I need, and not people.
In fact, people are as selfish as I am. Sometimes, our egoism finds common points of contact and then everyone is good.
Sometimes, my selfishness does not find common points of contact with those who already know me. Then a resonance occurs, which can give a strong wave. Sometimes people may not understand this wave, they may condemn it or not take it seriously. On a universe scale, this is neither good nor bad. It's just a given. You can also think about this and write.
When you start thinking and writing about it, sometimes it can be annoying or uncomfortable for people who already know you. And sometimes it gives acquaintance with new emotions and sensations. This may be responded to by people with whom you were not previously familiar.
For example, you write articles on certain topics. People who read them, they already begin to understand what to expect from you. They perceive you in a certain way. They are used to watching you from a certain angle. But when you start writing about topics that are not typical of you in their eyes, they start to resent. They don't want to accept your changes.
In my opinion, this is also interesting. This gives me the opportunity to look at the world from a different angle and ideas for writing new articles.
Sincerely,
Ilya Bazhan.
The most valuable thing in our life. Time.
Without him:
· we can do nothing;
· nothing makes sense;
· nothing happens;
· everything comes to an end.
When it starts, it's free, but people neglect it. When everything comes to an end, people are ready to give everything that they have for him, but it plays by its own rules and he leaves them.
It loves us when we are young. But we don't appreciate him.
We cherish it when we are old. But it does not spare us.
For us, it has an expiration date. When the expiration date comes to an end, it disappears without a trace. And for the universe, it does not matter.
Time is the greatest value we have in life.
Time does not spare us. Time does not spare our parents. Time does not give the slightest chance to return something and play back.
Time cannot be influenced. It is impossible to force him. It doesn't listen to prayers. It always goes forward. It always does things its own way. Time is relentless! It remains for us, only to obey him and accept his conditions.
Also, you cannot buy past time, but you can buy future time.
Time cannot be returned, but time can be freed up for the future.
Time can be wasted or well spent.
You can pay for the time, but if you spend it in vain or do not use it, no one will return the payment to you.
Also, time gives us freedom. We make money by spending our time on it. We use the money we earn to buy free time. Or we can waste someone else's time, but then we will not return ours.
Sometimes it happens that time has flown by, we did not notice, and it is already too late. Time has left us and we will not be able to return it. Then we have to pay something. Sometimes we pay with nerves, sometimes with health, sometimes with money, and sometimes with time, which is the future for us.
The time machine that will take us back to the past does not exist. Let's appreciate our time and the time of people close to us.
Sincerely,
Ilya Bazhan.
Emotion is a word formed by Latin words: shock, excite. It is a psychological process that expresses our relationship to situations and…
Drunks.
In this article, I do not want to offend or humiliate anyone. I am not at all a supporter of making fun of anyone. I think you can joke about the situation or the events. But it is incorrect to joke about people, especially those who, depending on the circumstances, or chemicals. I'm interested in understanding this topic in more detail.
I was born and raised in a disadvantaged area. I saw drunks up close. I myself have been drunk sometimes. Therefore, I know a little about what I am writing about.
In my opinion, in a global sense, the existence of drunks is not good and not bad. It's just a given. This will be so as long as alcohol is produced on the planet.
Drunkards are people who have degraded morally or physically, during the prolonged use of alcohol-containing products. Drunkards do not always harm society. Sometimes they are simply engaged in destroying their bodies without harming others.
Types of drunks.
Novice drunk.
This is usually a young man under thirty. He does not recognize himself as an alcoholic, but at first glance it is clear that he is a drinker. Addiction to alcohol can be seen on his face, in his eyes, in his behavior. He already knows what a hangover is and he is often under the fly. His gait is soft, relaxed. As a rule, he cannot be at rest. He is either good-natured or aggressive.
If in the early stages, the Beginner drunk does not quit drinking, then over time, he becomes either a "Quiet drunk" or a "Rowdy drunk".
Quiet drunks.
These people drink in apartments or houses, far from people and vanity. They drink quietly so that no one interferes. They don't want to bother anyone either. Such people can be found with a bottle or in the process of drinking, only on their territory, but they do not hide it. If they have a long drinking experience, then their appearance easily betrays them. Their faces are slightly swollen, with characteristic signs of prolonged binges, and their gait is staggering. In their behavior, they actively try to portray people who do not suffer from drunkenness. Quiet drunks are usually lonely.
In my opinion, this type of alcoholic is less of a nuisance to others than others. I think, in a way, they deserve more respect than other alcoholics. In my opinion, they are more worthy of pity and condescension. It is to such people that I want to offer help to a greater extent.
Secretive drinks.
As a rule, they are over forty. At first glance, they are no different from ordinary people. Recognizing the Hidden Alcoholic is extremely difficult. This can happen if you accidentally catch him using the process, or if his wife tells about him. The hidden drunk is usually a bad worker, but a professional at disguising drinking. He may have a straight gait, his eyes are normal, and he may not have bad breath.
It can be difficult to communicate and do joint work with such a person. Alcohol has long been destroying his brain cells. As a result, the personality of such a person degrades, work deteriorates. In addition, a hidden drunk, as a rule, has a difficult character, especially when he did not have time to take a hundred grams.
These people consume alcohol periodically, throughout the day, in small doses. They need it just to maintain tone. If they miss another dose of alcohol, they become lethargic, they lose their mood, they are not able to work.
Hidden drunks themselves do not remember when they became addicted. The level of alcohol in their blood is always the same. Alcoholic drinks are their life gasoline.
Drunkard rowdy.
The age of such people, as a rule, ranges from 35 to 45 years. They still have a little physical strength left to prove to people around that they are cool. They have bold aggression to behave arrogantly and rudely. But only with those who are outwardly weaker than them.
The rowdy alcoholic does not allow himself and the people around him to live in peace. With a hangover, he terrorizes loved ones. When alcohol has accumulated in the body, it terrorizes the rest. As a rule, sooner or later, such "specimens" end up in a psychiatric hospital or prison, sometimes in a cemetery, bypassing the first two options.
Zombie drunkards.
The face is gray or yellow-gray. He looks at the world with empty, red, clouded eyes. He looks more like a zombie than a human.
He does not need to eat. For him, food is not important at all. Zombie alcoholics are not gourmet. They are not picky about alcohol, they are ready to drink anything and always.
They do not have the ability to perceive and respond to demands from a civilized society, not to piss in public places.
Such drunks do not care what happens to him or what will happen in the future.
Zombie alcoholics accept their fate unconditionally. They have long forgotten everything and everyone. They do not care where fate has placed them at the moment: behind bars in a police station, a damp basement of a high-rise building, or a destroyed house. They are always as if in hibernation. They are in an amorphous state. In a state of oblivion and numbness. Only at the sight of an alcohol-containing liquid, they seem to wake up, come to life and immediately move in the direction of the smell of the potion.
These comrades can also be very aggressive and dangerous. You cannot stand in their way to alcohol-containing substances. Their body supports life for the sake of C2H5OH. In order to obtain the coveted chemical substance Zombie drunks can attack any living creature.
Many people think that Zombie drunks live long. In fact, the lifespan of Zombie Drunkards is very short. Zombie drunk - this is the last stage at which the brain is almost decomposed, the liver and kidneys are no longer functioning. But for some strange reason, unknown to science, the body is still trying to move.
I think all people, including drunks, have the right to choose how they live. They can drink or not drink if they like. The main thing is that they do not violate the rights and freedoms of other people. And if they violate, they must be isolated from society. Or treat if they agree.
Sincerely,
Ilya Bazhan.
Slaves of habits.
Our life often goes unconsciously, automatically. We do not think about our way of life or do not want to think so as not to upset ourselves.
In this article, I want to talk about some habits. We are addicted to these habits. We were in bondage to these habits before or are now. I think it will be useful for us to talk about this.
Habits are actions that we repeat over and over again. We often do this automatically, without thinking about the consequences. We become addicted to these actions. We cannot or do not want to stop doing this.
Smoking.
Sometimes we smoke because we are young and stupid. Sometimes, among young people it is considered cool. We think that smoking shows that we are already adults. Some of us even manage to go to the gym. Smokers do not stay long in the gym.
There are those among us who smoke from time to time. We tell everyone that we are not addicted to smoking. Over time, the "from time to time" stage turns into the hourly smoking stage.
Some of us smoked in high school and smoked our whole lives. We periodically tell everyone that we will stop smoking tomorrow. Or we say that we stopped smoking yesterday. The next day or even in the evening we are again with a cigarette in our teeth.
Some of us started early and smoke all our lives. It doesn't bother us. We just smoke and don't think about it. Some people say they smoke because they enjoy it. But I think that such a minority. Experienced smokers generally have poor health. Most of them are internally angry with themselves and others. They are so addicted and worried about it that they cannot quit smoking without help. But many are afraid to seek help.
Beer after work.
I think the habit of drinking "beer after work" came to us, because of the frequent viewing of action films. Mostly men are susceptible to this habit. In my opinion, there are significantly fewer women.
Some of us were so impressed by the scenes from these films that we adopted an unspoken law: "After work, I have the right to drink beer and watch TV." In a classic action movie, after completing a "mission", people go to a bar or gather at a TV with a beer.
Shopaholism.
If we suffer from this ailment, then, as a rule, money does not linger in our hands. Shopaholism is a kind of addiction. A shopaholic may start to “itch” long before the paycheck. In this case, in order to "satisfy our hunger" we borrow "money to paycheck." Then, immediately after receiving the salary, we run to boutiques or sales.
Conversation in a raised voice.
Some of us are used to talking to others in a raised voice. We do this not out of malice, but because we are so used to it. In this way, we try to convince and teach the interlocutors. Thus, we are used to defending our point of view. We are used to thinking that we are always and in everything we are right. We think that our habit of talking in a raised voice helps us in communicating with people. In fact, the effect is the opposite.
I often noticed the habit of speaking in a raised voice among kindergarten teachers and teachers in post-Soviet Russian schools.
Eating bread.
Most of us have been accustomed to eating bread since childhood. Consuming bread is not good for everyone. People in Russia are used to eating a lot of bread due to their low income. They save money and therefore replace many healthy foods with bread. Some people are used to eating bread even with noodles or dumplings.
Bread is not always healthy. Less benefit from yeast bread. Yeast bread makes it easy to get fat. It is especially easy to get fat from white flour bread or high-quality flour buns. Bread gives us a feeling of satiety. At the same time, along with bread, you can easily eat excess food and feel bad from overeating.
Recently, humanity has not experienced hunger. Humanity is experiencing heart attacks, strokes and other ailments. These ailments happen to us, including due to excess weight.
I have practically not eating bread for two years now. I feel that I have become more vigorous, more energetic, there is less laziness, my brain has begun to work better.
Eating sweets.
For three years now, I have not added sugar to the drinks I drink. I also minimized the consumption of soda and juice from the store. Almost all store liquids are high in sugar. It is no secret that the consumption of sugar provokes the deposition of fat in our body. Eating food containing an excessive amount of sugar is one of the strongest addictions for the human body. For some people, eating sweetened foods is more addictive than smoking or drinking alcohol.
Eating fatty foods.
Eating fatty foods is sometimes justified. It is difficult to survive in the far north without fatty foods. In such places, temperatures can be very low and it takes a lot of calories to keep the body alive. But, in other regions and under warm weather conditions, the consumption of fatty foods is very bad for our body. An excess of fatty foods leads to diseases of the cardiovascular system.
Many of us are used to fatty foods. As a result, food that is devoid of animal fats seems unpalatable to us. Because of this habit, low-fat foods cannot make us feel full.
Laziness.
As a rule, this habit is instilled in us from an early age. Since childhood, we see adults sitting in an armchair or lying on a sofa to "relax". Children copy the behavior of adults. If the child does not want to do something, he declares that he is tired and needs to rest. This is how laziness appears in our life. Over the years, as a rule, unconsciously, we become slaves to this habit.
Putting things off for later.
We are used to putting off important and difficult things for later in order to do easy and unimportant ones. We understand that sooner or later we will still need to do important and difficult things. We put them on the back burner because we don't want to feel uncomfortable today. Many of us are very familiar with this. That is why we are less successful than we could be.
Eating fast food.
How tasty and convenient it is. We are ready to stand in long lines for a McDonald's hamburger.
Often, after effective workouts in the gym, we go straight to eat fast food. Sometimes, this urge is stronger than smoking a cigarette. After all, hunger is one of the strongest feelings of a person.
Life in social networks.
Many of us are highly addicted to social media. We are there not for work or reading important news. And not because we need to reply to a friend's message. We are present on social networks because we cannot imagine our life without gossip and emoticons. When we're on social media, time stops for us. We are ready to scroll through the feed for an infinitely long time and watch short videos. We feel closer to the online world than others. We forget that our physical body is in the real world. We do not pay attention to the fact that our communication with people, our feelings and emotions, have long been a part of the virtual world. Often, we are unable to distinguish real from virtual life.
For a long time, I was a slave to some of the bad habits that I wrote about today. I am still addicted to some. I am working to get rid of them.
For many years I was a slave to smoking. It took me three years to quit smoking. After I quit, my body cleared itself of toxins for another two to three years. After three or four years, it became easier for me to breathe. I have become more resilient. I have an appetite. My taste buds have become acute. I realized that now I can fully enjoy food. Four years later, I started going to the gym. My health has improved markedly. I began to feel better than when I smoked.
Hopefully my article will help someone think about their habits. Or someone will recommend my article to someone who might find it useful.
Sincerely,
Ilya Bazhan.
How do I make my trip more interesting?
I choose different types of transport.
When I go on a trip, I try to diversify the modes of transport. I love to fly by plane, but if the road is scenic, I choose the train or bus. This allows you to take interesting photos, feel the atmosphere of the area closer and get a variety of impressions.
I choose unpopular travel options.
If I need to get to some place, I choose alternative transportation options. I google how most travelers get to this location. Typically, most tourists choose a bus or taxi. I try to choose the method that is less popular or generally unpopular. Sometimes, I look on the map where the road is and what is the distance to the target. If the distance is short and there is a possibility that the road can run through interesting places, then I choose to walk. As often happens, as a result, I get interesting impressions and a bunch of new photos and videos.
Leaving the place where I spent the night, I immediately try to forget for a while about the place where I spent the night.
When I leave my place of lodging, I immediately try to forget for a while about the place where I spent the night and what happened yesterday. Yes, most likely yesterday was cool and interesting. I don't think you should "live in the past" when you start a new day. You can remember your past trip and talk about it when you have already returned from the trip. But being in the process of traveling, you need to start each new day anew, with new thoughts.
As you know, the human brain is designed in such a way that it works most productively in the first few hours after sleep. Going out into the street, I am included in the atmosphere of the street, district, city, passers-by and the weather. I try not to think about yesterday in order to devote myself to this day.
Therefore, this way of "switching" allows my brain to find new ideas for visiting new places every day.
I try to get to places spontaneously.
It happens that I walk down the street and see something that I did not see on the map and that I did not plan to visit. It could be an interesting restaurant, a ruined building, or a group of street musicians. I change plans along the way. Often times, such actions open up cool places for me to get new tastes and impressions.
Sometimes I walk along the side of the road and on the way I come across a steep abandoned house. These ruins can be a great place to take some cool photos.
Sometimes while traveling, I meet new people. Sometimes new friends invite me to visit some interesting place with them. I agree with pleasure. It is a sin to refuse if fate sends you new impressions.
I try to change places of accommodation more often.
The first night on the trip, I can spend the night in a hostel. The second and third nights, at the house of new friends whom I met through Couchsurfing. Then, I can rent an apartment or a hostel again. I can spend one or two nights at the hotel if I want to get a good night's sleep. I like to frequently change places of accommodation. This method allows you to get more new acquaintances, more impressions, more cool emotions and more material for my articles.
Changing your accommodation often won't be a big deal if you are traveling light.
I travel light.
I'm busy traveling, not thinking about what thing to wear today. I don’t think about how to transport these "huge" suitcases if I often change the place to stay.
Lately, I have been taking one of my favorite backpacks with me, depending on the type of travel and location. As a rule, it can be a backpack of fifteen or twenty or thirty kilograms, but not more.
A small backpack is limited in size and therefore I only take with me what I really need. It allows me to be mobile and not carry things that I can do without.
I have some travel experience and already know exactly what to take with me and what not. As a last resort, many items can be bought on the road.
I spend my thoughts and emotions on travel, not clothes.
I usually bring one set of outdoor clothing, one pair of trekking shoes, one hooded sweatshirt, one briefs that look like shorts, one lightweight T-shirt, three pairs of hiking socks, and a compact fiber towel. Also, accessories for washing and shaving, which take up the volume of about three hundred milliliters of coffee mug. These things are either on me, or in my backpack, or attached to my backpack.
Sometimes while traveling, some things become unusable or torn or broken. If you can fix it quickly, I fix it, sew it up. If it's inconvenient or unwilling to repair, I just buy new ones and throw out the old ones.
I ask the locals about the sights.
As a rule, there is a lot of information about popular tourist places on the Internet. Millions of photos of these places on the Internet. I am not interested in taking fifty more photos of "Lenin". I try not to visit such places. If only, they are not on my way. I try to find out from local residents about locations that have not been visited by a mass tourist.
By the way, sometimes, tourist places can be interesting if you visit them not during the tourist season or at a non-tourist time of the day.
I try to get to know everyone.
I try to get to know everyone who, as it seems to me, may be of interest to me. When I get to know people, I ask about their activities, travels, listen to advice on where to go and what to try.
New acquaintances are new emotions, a new look at the world and new experience. This is information about unknown places and a pleasant pastime.
Lately, before traveling, I try not to plan anything, except for tickets and overnight places. If it's not the season, I also book overnight places during the trip.
If you like to plan everything, try next time, give some of your steps to chance. Perhaps a partial abandonment of planning will give you more emotions and an interesting experience.
Sincerely,
Ilya Bazhan.

“The shuttle moves workers... To the start of the day…”
People wake up early in the morning, they are like zombies. They go to the shuttle, which will take them to the place where they become workers. They become almost robots. So it goes day after day, week after week, year after year. When dozens of years pass, they recall how ...

How to get into creative thinking?
On the eve in the evening - you make a decision ... Just wake up ... Just dress, take things that are at hand ... Just leaving the house and moving forward ... You just walk or catch a car, or take a ticket for the bus, train, plane ... And so, your brains are free from extraneous people and objects ...
My life is one moment! My moment is eternity! Why should I spoil it with my thoughts?!

“My artistic mohawk” Jenuary 09, 2019
This photo work turned out at me spontaneously.
I needed an avatar for my pages on social networks and I decided to make a number of my photos so that in the process some new ideas would come to my mind. And in the process of filming it happened, I got the idea of a photo in profile with a mohawk in the form of my name and a pseudonym.
Friends, it is very interesting for me, what feelings and emotions, and maybe new ideas, negative or positive, does this photo have for you?
