of course these nerds made their own camp with TEN TREE HOUSES. i actually hate them
when they find the trio they turn into parent mode right away
liam bumps up the dad jokes up like 50 notches
they constantly take the kids out at night so they know how their world look like outside of haven
lots of road trips and stargazing
the kids all learn to drive at the prime age of fourteen
they learn the most important rule when it comes to driving: driver picks the music
he would literally create his own little haven drivers ed
rubiam have little graduations for the kids (do not deny this)
even though ruby is incredibly smart, math? not a fan. so lee takes that subject
he ends up like the dad in the incredibles two trailer
kids: “that’s not what it says in the textbook uncle chubs sent us”
liam: “for the last time, it’s grandpa chubs. and well, when has he ever been right??”
ruby: “literally always.”
the kids never get to experience bonfires due to security reasons so next best thing? s’mores in the microwave
this secret thing is only done when ruby gone. liam may be dumb sometimes but he doesn’t want to die you know
liam once exploded the microwave doing this
and thanks to his great luck ruby came through the door
she sighed heavily, “you know sometimes i wonder why i ran away with you?”
the whole zu shrine was all liam’s idea. that’s literally canon
ruby: “i mean i love zu, but don’t you think she will think we are creepily obsessed with her.”
liam; “ANNDDD???” he says as he nails a huge ass poster of zu onto the wall
liam for sure introduced ruby to the old lady that gave them the haven house as ruby stewart and still blushed when she called ruby that. whatta nerd
falling at haven: liam’s brand
he was fallen out of too many tree houses it’s really a miracle he is still alive
when jacob and miguel got together liam’s eyebrow did that thing it does when he finds out someone is with someone (aka vida and chubs)
which ruby has a score board of the highest his eyebrow raised and vida and chubs has never been beaten
ruby once found all the deformed wooden animals liam makes and heard the story from one of the younger kids and now keeps a small turtle with her in her bag at all times
okay we know ruby is a huge fan of sweaters right?
well one time liam walked down in one of her sweaters and she had to leave the room
she decided she was gonna leave it as long as possible and took secret pictures the whole day leading up to dinner
at dinner NONE of the haven kids could keep it together
she burst out laughing which had everyone pointing and laughing until ruby explained that it was her sweater
“yeah bc you stole it from me”
“no honey that sweater is tighter on you than chubs’s fists in your presence”
get you a bf that steals your clothes am i right??
okay the first time one of the kids called ruby and liam, mom or dad they cry
BUT WHEN JACOB CALLED THEM MOM AND DAD
he’s really quiet and despite being with them for a long time he just never called them mom and dad, and they never expected that from ANY of the kids
they understand that they had real parents, but they still love it and cry so much
well ruby has a cinematic single tear and liam sobs for days but you get the point
date night at haven is just really cute things the kids set up
once they went out to the boat and liam tried to be romantic and kiss ruby
but in true liam fashion fell straight into the lake
the best part about this was lisa was taking pictures with the camera ruby bought her and got the exact moment liam was falling
the pure thought of that picture has ruby in tears
she sent it to chubs right away
his response: “you haven’t talked to me in months and this is what i get??”
MOVIE NIGHT AT HAVEN??? i think yes
jacob and miguel spent ALL DAY setting the projector and screen up outside
then. then liam comes out with a bowl full of popcorn
he heard a rumor from one of the littles that they were gonna be watching bolt. and he got excited bc he loves that movie
puppy lee wasn’t gonna miss the chance to see a fellow puppy on the screen they are practically cousins
so anyways with this excitement he trips. what. a. surprise.
he takes down the whole set up
it only takes 2 seconds before everyone started throwing popcorn at him
he is legit the meme of the house
ruby has so many pictures of liam on her phone that she sends to the older kids so they can make memes behind his back. great bonding activity
with this new house ruby begs vida to leave books around so she can go pick them up later
so with these new books liam realized something
distraction = less cuddles. its science
less cuddles is NOT an option. NOPE
he will purposely wear his softest flannel to bed in the middle of summer
he is legit sweating bullets but won’t take it off until ruby is so close that he can’t breathe
he ends up so sweaty ruby doesn’t want to cuddle anyways
everything at haven is half fixed
plummer lee right?? experience: turning on the faucet
one time ruby went to take a shower and the whole metal thing flew off
and now he comes by when liam is out to fix everything he broke
liam stewart: master of fixing cars and motorcycles, but cannot turn on the toaster
the oven handle once broke when he tried to lean on it while flirting with ruby
