Keeping endangered species in captivity in only endangering the species more by completely altering their lifestyle. A tiger is meant to run free, hunt and breed in a natural habitat not walking around trapped in a box completely controlled (feeding times etc), stared at through glass day on day. Humans rule the planet because we over 'breed' so our population levels increase rapidly for mammals and we over control. I think it's destroying the planet, maybe because we were created and out here for a big game. Like a giant hunger games against all the species but we've expanded and evolved so much that winning isn't living anymore.

How could it be that the thing which kills me most has kept me alive for so long?

I feel like someone has dropped me but I'm looking around and there doesn't seem to be anyone who'd come close enough to even touch me.

I thought I could get rid of what you left behind by reopening my skin. Now I think I'll bleed out before any of it fades, but I guess I'm okay with that.

Sometimes I think if I close my eyes for long enough I'll open them and be someone else or have a different life, I can't seem to keep them closed for long enough without seeing your face and reconsidering the idea. I discovered the thought of not knowing you hurts more than it did to lose you.

I don't know how long I've been sitting in silence but I can hear your voice running through my veins and my scars screaming to be reopened, it's loud but the air is empty and it scares the fuck out of me.
