Could i request something with Ghost types (preferably Gengar and/or Mimikyu) overcoming the sort of stigma that comes with their species and becoming best friends
((Aaa ghost types are my favorite, so I hope you like this, dear!))
Imagine taking a dare to spend the night in an old, creepy house that no one has lived in for what seems like a decade. Now imagine immediately regretting it. Your so-called ‘friends’ have locked the doors behind you, so now you’re stuck in the abandoned abode. Without any other choices, you move forward into the darkness alone. The dare stated that you go alone, leaving your Pokemon behind, and bring only a flashlight and blanket. The rumors about the house being haunted did not help your mood, either.
You make it through the first couple of rooms without any incident. Sure, the floorboards creaking under each step and the wind’s howling outside left you a bit jumpy, but as long as nothing actually happened, you could deal with it. Unfortunately, that peace didn’t last very long, for as soon as you stepped into the living room, everything changed. The air itself staled and the temperature dropped low enough that you clutched your blanket close to your chest. You immediately decide to leave, but the doors slam shut before you can even turn around. If that isn’t enough to spook you, the TV turning on to static behind you is, and you jump back with a yelp. Something moves in the corner of your eye and you point your flashlight in the direction, but you see nothing—still, you back up until you’re against the wall. With nowhere to go, you curl up and cloak the blanket around yourself.
Almost immediately, everything seems to calm down. The air and temperature return to normal, and outside your felt fort you can hear the TV shut off. However, you don’t dare move. The room is silent for what feels like the longest time before you hear a noise. Noises, actually. You resist the urge to look, but you can hear an exchange of chirping outside, like a conversation. They too die down, but something bumps gently against your leg. Finally, you risk a peek. Moving the blanket from your face, you look down and almost mistake the creature for a battered Pikachu plushie, but you quickly recognize it as a Mimikyu. Glancing up, you spot a Gengar standing a foot or so away from you. You almost hide yourself again, but the apologetic expressions on each of the ghost Pokemons’ faces convince you to relax and cross your legs. The rumors surrounding ghost-types range from eerie to terrifying, but it doesn’t seem like these two mean any harm.
The two brighten up immediately, but don’t move any closer until you make a beckoning motion. They rush over and huddle over with you, with Mimikyu settling in your lap and Gengar clinging to your arm. They both seem happy with this and are content enough to stay curled up with you. You’ve calmed down as well and sleep is overtaking you quickly. Not too long afterwards, you drift off into slumber.
Imagine in the morning after, both of your companions are still with you. They are happy enough to guide you to the now-unlocked exit, but cling to you when you try to leave. It makes sense—you’re likely the first person to befriend them in a quite a while. So you decide to invite them to come with you. The two accept immediately and the three of you walk home together.
