#judo #martialarts #ma After lunch I decided to take judo with Garry st leger! He's a great coach and definitely is a resource I should go to more often. He recently won gold this weekend in a judo tournament. Congrats!! He explained that grips can change but technique and concept are the same. He showed us variations and it should definitely help me with my stand up .. I always blank out. Also I will work on my single legs and really make it my bread and butter. On my way to judo today I was already hungry even though I just ate Shake shack 😒 but I decided to just take judo and eat after. I'm always hungry!! This poster seemed appropriate.

Start from stand up and I find I learn how to pace myself to last the entire hour and really control my breathing too. Post BJJ training meal-- had to celebrate my teammate's win! She fights MMA and had a big win over the weekend. She is a huge inspiration/motivation. So awesome too.. She got me a gift for my bday, from inverted gear-- panda berimbolo tee! Heck yeah 🙌
