One of the affirmations I thought of this morning was “you’re so small in this giant universe & it’s very likely that none of what you’re going through is particularly original or harrowing” and it literally made my anxiety dissipate sooo fast. I get this kind of thinking may make somebody else feel insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but it always helps me for some reason. Maybe bc I like that I’m connected to other people through these experiences, painful or otherwise. Whatever I’m going through has likely happened to someone 10 years ago, and they likely got over it. It’s a nice thought. It shows me that I can too & that time heals all

I can bear it but come on
When is society gonna bring back tea parties? I don't wanna go to a bar, I want to sit at a round table in a floral dress, drink tea and eat cake !!
