I dreamed a dream🎵
Rest in peace Sam Neill. Thank you for the awe and wonder you brought to us.
we really should be calling it fanworks, not content
I'm here for fun and community not to rp a mega corporation's underpaid social media intern
Ahhhh I did this art mosty for myself because I like soft durgetash. They are in Iron throne. I want you to focus on Gortash arms, I put there burn scars from House of Hope. I also gave him tattoos from concept art because I can do whatever I want.
Alaris Full Release Information
THE COUNTDOWN HAS ENTERED SINGLE DIGITS
DID YOU HEAR? Alaris is releasing July 17, 2026. That's in NINE (COUNT 'EM NINE) DAYS.
To get ready for release, I thought I'd give a whole rundown of the transition from Early Access to Full Release. While I've talked about it in the past, the information is relatively scattered, so I thought it'd be best to put everything in one post so everyone's on the same page!
Pricing from Early Access to Full Release
Currently, the game in Early Access is $11.99. Actually, if you purchase it on Steam by July 9, it's $9.59. It's in the Steam Summer Sale---I had no idea I put it in the Summer Sale and only found out recently. Sorry for always being the mess of a developer that I am LFALSDLF.
When the game enters Full Release, the price will increase to $14.99 to represent the additional content being added, as well as the OG price the game was planned to be upon release. Again, to explain to anyone new, the game was $11.99 upon Early Access release because the game didn't have full content. I wanted the pricing to be fair and represent the limited content, and show my gratitude to anyone who supported the game at Early Access release.
Now that we're entering Full Release, the game's price will increase to what it was meant to be, which was $14.99, now that it will have all the content it was meant to have! Again, this price change will take place on July 17, when the game fully releases.
If you buy the game once, whether it is during Early Access or Full Release, you will own it even when it fully releases. The additional routes and content coming to the game come as an update to the game, rather than a separate item! So, to answer anyone's question, yes you can buy the game anytime between now and July 17 if you'd like to get it at a discount before it fully releases. You will not have to buy the game twice. If you have the game on Itch, you'll just have to download the new build when it's uploaded. If you have the game on Steam, the Full Release update will automatically download I believe.
Of course.... if you want to support me and give me more money, you can wait until the game fully releases to buy it at $14.99! 'Tis hard times we live in, though, so if you want to pick up the game earlier, don't feel guilty for doing so o7
Content Changes from Early Access to Full Release
Obviously, the biggest change coming to the Full Release build is that both Fae routes will be added to the game, and it will be considered complete (THATS CRAZY FR).
Currently, the Early Access Build has all of the Central Gang's routes. As said before, these are complete and polished. They will not be receiving additional script content when the game enters Full Release, aka there's no new scenes or CGs or the like. They WILL be receiving additional content in terms of assets that weren't available at the time of EA Release. So Central Gang routes will get more voice lines, new tracks, and new NPC sprites. The whole game has also gotten a slight (emphasis on SLIGHT) art refresh for the sprites.
Preview of new sprites and Fae routes. Slight change, but I think the sprites all look a bit more vibrant!
The game will also get Steam Achievements finally, now that we are entering The Final Product, and other small polishing changes that are probably Unnoticeable to you, the players, but that I choose to agonize over as The Developer LFASDF.
Sneak peek of the achievement badges by always cracked Maguna (artist behind the personality/affection images)
All in all, the Full Release's content will finally represent Alaris in its Final Form and will include:
6 Complete Routes with 12 Total Endings (EA Numbers: 4 Routes & 8 Endings)
~350k Words of Content (EA Numbers: ~240k Words)
500 Choice Menus (EA Numbers: 270 Choice Menus)
1020 Individual Choices (EA Numbers: 670 Individual Choices)
780 Personality Variations (EA Numbers: 470 Variations)
54 CGs (EA Numbers: 38 CGs)
17 Sprites (EA Numbers: 13 Sprites)
65 Backgrounds
~2.5k Voiced Lines (EA Numbers: 1k Voiced Lines)
14 Soundtracks (EA Numbers: 9 Soundtracks)
25 Achievements
As you can see..... my baby is packed full of love (and crashouts). I am so excited for everyone to finally play the game in full, with the complete story and experience that I'd imagined and worked towards all these years!
It's been such a journey, and as I wrap up everything for the game, from sessions, to editing, etc., it's been so nostalgic to talk to the people who have also had a hand in this game. Everyone who's worked on this has been with me for years at this point, and we are all so excited for you all to experience the game we've been toiling away at.
Again, if you'd like to pick up the game for cheaper, feel free to do so anytime between now until July 17. Until then... the countdown continues. If you want to count down with a community, the Discord server is always open to new and old players to talk about the game with!

That's just about all I can think of for the Full Release. JULY 17TH!!! NINE DAYS!!
I'll see you all then!
So, I've started working in Krita! This is my first brush pack for it!
I've begun working in Krita! This is my first brush pack for Krita trying to emulate my fur brushes from Clip Studio Paint.
Krita Resources I use (WIP) All of them are free. Brushpacks: Krita 3 Default Resources (this is in Krita 4+ by default but you have to activate it, unlike the other defaults) David Revoy's Brushes (some of their older brushes are part of Krita 4+ by default now.) Nylnook's v2 brushes Zer0coil's Krita brushpack Wolthera Inking Poppy Brushes Aurelia's Lineart (also comes with patterns) Stipple Beast Evolved JP Illustration Toolkit (also comes with patterns) Glitter Gel Pens lilly-mist's hatching brushes mikhailasmo's inking Expressive Inks (also comes with patterns) Konayachi Daily ~I'll do more/non-brushes later Some of these I haven't used much atm, I just know I want to use these more in the future haha there may be a lot of similar brushes in these.
You can always ask what brush/pattern I use in a specific piece, but understand if I can't find it'' but if you don't explicitly ask what it is & just comment on it, I probably won't think to mention what it is One thing I want to say rq as well: So I sort all my brushes using the tags feature and I'll delete the tag that any new brushes originally came in... Apparently, something about that won't put those brushes into "All untagged" so make sure you either tag everything before deleting or make a "sort" tag for anything you want to come back to later I just found this out, and aughh that explains some things....... (last time I sorted stuff I was really quick w it because I didn't know how to transfer brush sorting on reinstallation)
F2U character sheet templates
A friend of mine was having trouble making reference sheets for her characters, so I made quite a few!
I figure these could be really useful if anyone else was struggling too, so these are all F2U
They could be really useful for Artfight, so keep that in mind :)
------Edit------
HOLY SHIT I did NOT expect this to blow up this much!! Thankyou!!
Here's my artfight! I really hope I get to attack some of the people that actually used my template, that would be so cool!

Nyx's (Current) Occult Reading List
Justin Sledge just released this awesome video about his personal recommended reading list on Western esotericism, for people who want to get started. So, that motivated me to finally stop stalling and update my own occult reading list. This list updates occasionally as I add (and get through) more reading material, so, stay tuned.
A [⭐] indicates a primary source, and a [🔮] indicates scholarship.
Classic Occultism
⭐ The Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa. This three-volume doorstopper from 1533 is the definitive textbook of Western esotericism. It's almost the exact midpoint of the Western esoteric tradition, synthesizing a bunch of different traditions into a single cohesive system. If you want to understand the logic behind spellwork, this is worth reading. (ESOTERICA also has a great series of lectures on Agrippa.)
The Doctrine and Ritual of High Magic by Eliphas Levi. Probably one of the most significant occult books of the modern period. I wouldn't take everything that Levi says about history at face value, but Doctrine and Ritual is a great introduction to the theory and practice of the modern system of Western magic.
Book Four and ⭐ The Book of the Law by Aleister Crowley. Book Four, also called Liber ABA, Magick in Theory and Practice, or simply Magick, is Aleister Crowley's comprehensive guide to his own system of magic. It's not the most accessible occult text, but it's worth listing here because of Crowley's general significance to modern occultism. The Book of the Law is a short philosophical and mystical poem that is the foundational text of Thelema.
The Middle Pillar and Ceremonial Magic by Israel Regardie. The Middle Pillar is one of the definitive texts of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's system of magic. Definitely recommended for people just getting into modern ceremonial magic. The latter is a short treatise on ritual logic. (I really like Regardie's writing style; I think I prefer him to Crowley.)
The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. Hall. A survey of esoteric philosophy from around the world, with a Masonic bent. Haven't actually read it yet, but it's important enough to list.
The Kybalion by "The Three Initiates" (aka William Walker Atkinson). I know I shit on The Kybalion a lot, but it's actually a decent introduction to basic occult philosophy for people who have no familiarity with the subject. If you're completely new to occultism, The Kybalion is a lot more accessible than some of the other material on this list. Just keep in mind that it's a jumping-off point (and it's not actually Hermetic).
Folk Magic and Witchcraft
🔮 The Triumph of the Moon and The Witch by Ronald Hutton. Hutton is a modern scholar of paganism and occultism, one of the only scholars I've found who specializes in both paganism and occultism, and their relationship to each other. Honestly, I recommend anything he writes. But I would start with The Triumph of the Moon, which is a history of the development of neopaganism (Wicca in particular). The Witch is a historical study of the witch trials, and the concept of the witch in different times and places.
New World Witchery by Cory Thomas Hutcheson. A general overview of North American folk magic by a folklorist, directed at practitioners. If you’re American, it’ll help you discover folk magic in your own backyard. Hutcheson also has a podcast of the same name. He's also the editor of Lewellyn's Complete Book of North American Folk Magic, which I haven't read yet, but which looks really promising.
Of Blood and Bones: Working with Shadow Magick and the Dark Moon by Kate Freuler. A book about the darker side of folk magic — curses, Shadow work, osteomancy, blood magic, and the like. Despite the title, it’s very straightforward and not insufferably edgy. But it's also pretty beginner-focused, directed at practitioners who are more used to the “love-n’-light” style of modern witchcraft.
