This is a rare personal post but I had to get it off my chest. I consider Kid Cudi to be my favorite musician and one of my idols in life. I know he comes off as an asshole sometimes in person but I don't care. What this man and his music has done for me can't be fully explained without selling him short. His music has helped me through a lot in my life these past couple of years personally. I'm not ashamed to admit I've battled depression and it feels like I'm going through the same thing again but when I listen to Cudi's music, I feel a certain connection and knowing that he went through the same thing that I was/am going through and he has persevered and it inspires me. There's been countless times at night, where I just felt like giving up on life and just played Man On The Moon II on full blast and I immediately change my thoughts and makes me realize I'm not the only one feeling the same way and that I shouldn't put myself down like this when I should be stronger and think of the positives in my life and the people who really care for me. For that, I can't thank Cudi enough and he'll have a fan in me who will support him for life.
