Strap in Swifties, it's been a real year.
30 Times Taylor Swift Made 2018 Her Bitch
Strap in Swifties, it’s been a real year.
Posted on December 18, 2018 Jemima Skelley
1. She started January off with a bang when she dropped the extremely epic video for “End Game”, with Ed Sheeran and Future.
And the behind the scenes video revealed that the dancers had to bop along to a cowbell, without actually hearing the song.
2. She shared her support for March For Our Lives and spoke out against gun violence in the USA.
3. It was revealed that she would star in the upcoming Catsmovie, which is potentially the most ~Taylor Swift~ choice she’s ever made.
4. In March, she released the “Delicate” music video which features an epic dance sequence and the sweetest woman you’ve ever seen.
5. Then she proved how much she loved us by releasing a second music video on Spotify which is seriously the definition of Soft™.
6. In April she dropped two Spotify singles: an acoustic version of “Delicate” which makes you feel like you’re floating up to heaven, and a beautiful cover of “September”.
7. She started her Reputation stadium tour in May in Arizona. The tour went to six countries with 53 shows.
8. Two days before starting the tour, she invitedfoster families in the area to come watch the full dress rehearsal.
9. It was an ICONIC tour. It was full of moments which seemed totally engineered for die-hard fans: 10 songs from old albums, three stages and even a path through the crowd that Taylor walked each night.
10. Also she had a few rain shows, where it poured for basically the whole concert.
I was at two of them and let me tell you: a Taylor Swift show in the rain is something everyone needs to experience at least once in their life. Also she ripped off her eyelashes at one point during the storm which was iconic AF.
11. On the opening night, she delivered a speech to the audience about bullying and how ~certain people~ really affected her mental health.
“A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. And then a lot of people called me a lot of names on social media. I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.”
“I wanted to send a message to you guys that if someone uses name-calling to bully you on social media, and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn’t have to beat you. It can strengthen you instead.”
12. In June during her show in Chicago, she gave a beautiful speech about pride month.
“So this month and every month I want to send out my love and respect to everybody who has been brave enough to be honest about the way they feel, to live their lives as they are, as they feel they should be, as they identify.”
13. Actually she gave a lot of great speeches: on the one-year anniversary of her sexual assault trial she spoke about how society treats victims.
“I just wanted to say I’m sorry to anyone who wasn’t believed, because I don’t know what turn my life would have taken if people didn’t believe me when I said that something had happened to me.”
14. After a fan tarteda “1 2 3 let’s go bitch” chant at one of her shows, she wholeheartedly embraced it and was mouthing along with the crowd by the end.
15. She released a song, “Babe”, (originally written for her album Red) with country band Sugarland.
16. She acknowledged International Snake Day while singing “Look What You Made Me Do” at her Ohio concert in July.
17. She brought out some seriously amazing guests on tour.
Robbie Williams, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Troye Sivan, Selena Gomez, Bryan Adams, Hayley Kiyoko, Maren Morris and Niall Horan to name a few.
18. She attended the Billboard Awards in one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve ever laid eyes on.
19. She got political on Instagram for the first time, revealing that she would be voting for the Democratic candidate for Tennessee.
She encouraged her followers to do research and vote for whoever agreed with their own values.
20. Which led to a huge spike in voter registration across the US.
The director of communications for Vote.org said: “We are up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period since T. Swift’s post.”
21. Then she posted photos of her fans early voting to her Instagram stories.
22. She performed “I Did Something Bad” at the AMAs and lit every man on the planet on fire.
23. Then she won four awards, making her the most awarded female in AMAs history (with 23 wins).
24. And afterwards had a giant party which showed us all how goddamn fancy her house is. A mosaic mural? Ok sis.
25. In November, she announced her new record deal with Universal.
As part of her contract, she negotiated for all artists on the label to receive a profit from Spotify shares.
26. She said “fuck yeah gay rights” and did a surprise performance on stage with Hayley Kiyoko at the Ally Coalition benefit concert in New York.
(Also look how shocked she is that everyone in the crowd yelled “1 2 3 let’s go bitch”.)
27. It was revealed she had the highest-grossing North American tour of all time.
29. She had the highest-selling album of the year…despite the fact that reputation came out in 2017.
30. And she took time out on her birthday to drop the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour which is coming out on Netflix on New Year’s Eve.
It’s the end of 2018, and we’re looking back at the very Best of 2018. Check out even more of our Best Celebrity Moments of 2018 coverage!

With finals coming up, I just wanted to put together a few tips. Feel free to message me about anything you need help on and I’ll help you to the best of my abilities. Anyways, here we go!
Studying/Prep tips
Don’t leave your studying all to the last minute. I cannot stress this enough. Chemistry can be very confusing and therefore might take longer to study for then other classes. Five 1 hour study sessions beats one 5 hour session every time.
Use your textbook. Honestly, it’s surprising how many people just ignore their book and only use their notes. This is fine in some cases, but in most textbooks there are practice problems at the end of each chapter which may be very similar to the ones of the exam.
Double-check material. You may be tempted to only study the sections you don’t understand or forgot. Don’t do this. Seriously, I’ve done this before and when I got to the test I realized I had forgot the material I was confident with in the first place. Basically, review the hard things first, but don’t forget to go over the things you think you know already.
Memorize the formulas and constants. This should be obvious but you should know formulas and constants backwards, forwards, and upside down (I’m joking, but seriously..). Looking at a problem and realizing you don’t know the formula is literally the worst thing.
Practice with the calculator you are going to use on the test. Again, this should be obvious but just in case I’m going to put it on here.
Go over the steps. Drawing Lewis structures and balancing equations take many steps so make sure you know all of them, and which order the steps go in.
Watch videos. For auditory and visual learners (like myself), watching videos can be a helpful asset while studying for an exam. My favorites include Crash Course (more general) and Khan Academy (more specific). Pro Tip: I like to speed up Khan Academy videos 1.25x or 1.5x because they are a bit slow for me.
Use premade study guides. Sparknotes has some good ones, you can find a ton if you just google search. If you want the ones I make for myself just send me a message.
Don’t rely on flash cards too much. Flashcards can be useful but if your teacher is anything like mine, you will have to be able to understand and explain concepts, not just rattle off a bunch of definitions. I found that flashcards help me more on multiple choice tests, not so much on free-response ones.
Review your labs. Concepts found on your labs will most likely appear on your final, and it’s good to have the fresh in your memory. This is also helpful for tactical learners because they might remember concept better that they have seen and experienced themselves.
While taking the exam
Keep track of your units. Always the unit on the end of an answer. There is usually a unit on everything.
Look over all of the questions when you get the test. Do the easy ones first. This seems counterintuitive, but seriously, trust me.
Proofread all of your free response questions before turning in the test.
Check your math. Twice. Thee times. Make sure it’s right. Stupid math errors are usually what makes the difference between and A- and B+.
Keep track of sig figs and don’t use rounded values. Rounding your answer should be the very last thing you do.
Write something. Usually you get some points for writing what you know, or guessing, rather than leaving the answer blank.
Re-check all answers at the end. Honestly, I never used to do this but surprisingly it helps a lot.

Life goes on whether you choose to move on and take a chance in the unknown or stay behind, locked in the past, thinking of what could’ve been. I don’t want to live in the past anymore. I’m so lonely here, there’s nothing for me here anymore.
