Good morning everyone! Dija miss me? Well.. maybe not but that’s okay too! Either way just popping in to show I’m alive. Been busy, also doing stuff over at @empatheticapothecary to get into the groove. Either way I’ll be gone as I have been, but it’s my birthday (woo.) so I’m with a friend for the day so catch ya’ll on the flip flop

With this I think I can finally open shop! Apologies for the lack of banner as I lack both graphical talent and the time to make such things. If I could get a bit of a push for followers that would be great too!. My name is Ray, I have 16+ years of RP experience, and it’s very nice to meet you all!

Fifty two caps left to icon. it’s 8 AM. The things I do for a labor of love when it comes to blogs. Goodness.
Penny, if your father let you go on your own and do whatever you wanted, what would be the first thing you do?
“Well... It’s less of my Father and more of Mister Ironwood’s orders, but if they were to suddenly grant me more freedom to do as I pleased.. I think I would like to interact with more people first.. then maybe try to find a flight to Vale to see Ruby of course since we don’t see each other often enough.”
I am so sorry guys. I just had to.
Verses have been updated to reflect a new Danganronpa AU for Penny!

Fukawa walked up to the girl and smiled nervously. "E-Excuse me... Can you tell me where I am?"
Penny had once again found herself ambling around the bustling metropolis that was known as Atlas. This was no new sight for her as she had grown quite adept and skilled at giving her guards the slip for a good while now and yet each time she got to see the city and the people dwelling within it was like magic to her every time in spite of it being mundane for the masses. Though it would cause the occasional pang of loneliness from the fact that she was often times in solitude and frequently missing her first friend in Ruby, but unfortunately it would be a while yet before she would gain official clearance to depart to Vale.
She would find herself drifting from one place to another as she blended in with the crowds as best she could and taking in all the sights and living out a moment where she could feel like a normal girl. However her attention would be immediately brought to what seemed like a rather demure looking girl who had approached her. She did not look familiar nor did she look particularly threatening, in fact if she had to pinpoint it at all she looked a tad uncomfortable.
“Greetings and salutations are in order, but you seem to not know where you are? Are you perhaps new to this area? Well have no worries my friend, you are in the capitol city of Atlas! Did you perhaps need some assistance in finding someplace or perhaps you were separated from someone? Oh shoot, here I am getting ahead of myself and forgetting introductions!” she would state with her usual chipper tone in her voice. “My name is Penny, what’s yours?”
She would perk her head up just a bit hearing that she was a fellow student as well. Perhaps not at the same school, but still it was nice to meet someone of a mutual camaraderie nonetheless. She would give something of a restrained smile, not wanting to fire too quickly into her usual exuberance after having learned that sometimes that is not always the best way of presenting herself to someone new. She would pause after giving her acquaintance enough time to explain herself and would give the occasional nod to indicate she was listening to every word she had to say before speaking up at the proper moment.
“Well it sounds quite fortuitous that you made it into Beacon then! Assuming since you are headed for Vale of course. I have .. heard things about Mister Ozpin and he seems to be quite understanding if he sees a person with a lot of talent. Or rather that’s something Mister Ironwood has mentioned offhandedly when he’s spoken of Beacon’s Headmaster..” she would momentarily pause to give a satisfied nod in affirming that what she remembered was correct. “I am certain that if you have that kind of talent then you were destined to be a student there. Though you’re a writer as well? As a hobby or profession? Is there any sort of genre you prefer to work with? Er. Sorry for so many questions, I have never met someone who had skill outside their trade or profession!”
She smiled and chuckled a little at the other’s questions. “It’s fine, Penny! No need to apologize.” She said, stepping a little closer to the girl. “It’s mainly a hobby, but I do have a few short stories and a novel published. I’m a big hit in Vale.” Fukawa smiled a little wider as she talked about her talent for writing. “I mostly write romance stories but a few of them have dealt with fantasy settings. Knights in shining armor, damsels in distress, that I kind of stuff.”
Penny would listen attentively with great interest as she had never in her short life met a true to life author. Truthfully there are people of many career paths that she had yet to meet, but author was among the higher up on the list as books were the closest form to entertainment she got when her presence was not needed or requested for any sort of mission or tests. Only barely surpassed by movie and tv show directors, but of her favorite media books took the top prize given she had something of a vivid imagination in the processor that qualified as her brain.
She would find herself inching a little closer to Fukawa as she was drawn in by the details of what she would work on. An audible and shocked gasp would push its way past Penny’s internal restraints as she stood in amazement that someone of her age was already a success at something other than being a huntress or huntsman. “That ... is ..simply amazing Toko! I am very impressed, most authors tend to be adults by the time of their first works being published and becoming a successful seller! And I love romance stories.. Father says that is typical and normal for a girl my age, but reading them helps me understand how romance works even better! Though fantasy tends to be a favorite since it lets me close my eyes time to time and visualize the world and all its characters!”
Almost out of habit and breaking her own attempts to remain restrained she would excitedly grasp Fukawas hands absolutely ecstatic from her findings. “Oh please do tell me any titles you have written! I would very much love to add your works to my collection!”
Fukawa walked up to the girl and smiled nervously. "E-Excuse me... Can you tell me where I am?"

“O-Oh! So this is Atlas!” The girl exclaimed, chuckling nervously. “I guess I’m moving in the right direction. I’m not sure though.” She looked at the girl in front of her and smiled nervously. “I-I’m Touko Fukawa. Nice to meet you, Penny.”
She looked around and thought for a moment. “I guess I could stay here for a little while before I try to make my way back to Vale.” She tapped her chin while she thought. “Yes. That’s what I shall do. Anyway, are you from here, Penny?”
“That is most correct! You seem quite lost so I’ll show you around at least!” the young synth would happily chirp as she offered her hand to Fukawa to lead her about. Never before had she seen someone who didn’t know Atlas when they were in it, but she wasn’t about to judge given how little of the world she had seen for herself. She tilted her head inquisitively upon hearing her name as well as it was not quite like one she had heard before, but was unsure of where from. She would flash a smile and give a polite nod in turn, not sure of how to properly carry herself given after her meeting with Ruby she had become a bit more self-aware of her own awkward people skills
“Oh! You’re trying to get to Vale? You’re quite a ways and a bit of ocean ways off yet! There’s always air travel or even a boat if you prefer.” she would state with a matter-as-a-fact tone. “Oh yes! I er .. you could say I was born and raised here in fact. If there’s one place I know better than anywhere else it’s Atlas.” she would offhandedly chuckle as she attempted to hide her displeasure for being confined to one place and having to usually sneak out to see the world if Winter was too busy to escort her around.
“I appreciate it, Penny.” She said, taking her hand with a smile. The young woman walked with the girl and giggled softly. She’d been through the city before but she’d never been there for any extended length of time. She looked over at Penny and gave her own smile and polite nod.
“Yeah, I figured that I was a bit far off.” She said with a giggle. “I’m not due back in Vale for another few days at least, so I might just stay somewhere in the city until I have to leave.” Fukaea smiled and kept walking, taking in her surroundings. “So, tell me a little about yourself, Penny.”
The young gynoid could only shake her head in earnest as she attempted to put aside her initial surprise as normally she would be the one lead around, but she knew better than to leave a person who seemed completely lost alone. To her it was the only thing that seemed like the right thing to do. It wasn’t as if her secret would be so readily exposed by helping this girl get closer where she needed to be. It was also a chance to make a new friend after all. Noticing she did not seem to accept her hand she would move it back to her side and would walk briskly beside her as she attempted to learn more about her.
“Never a problem really! I am certain it must be easy to become lost in such a huge kingdom. Since you’re not due back for a while I suppose I could show you around if there’s anyplace you would like to go I would be most happy to take you there!” She would give a small assertive nod as she continued to test the waters to attempt ot get a better feel for Fukawa, but would be slightly startled when asked about herself. Usually no one bothered to ask as most people she met tended to know more about her than she did herself given her unique circumstance.
“M-Me? Oh well.. I am a first year of the Atlas Academy you could say.. technically. I’m in something of a special placement there so it’s a bit of a different arrangement than from other students. My father is a renowned and highly respected scientist for the Atlasian Military. I’m actually slated to be part of the Vytal Festival tournament come fall if all my paperwork goes through.. Hmm.. apart from that I live a rather static life for the most part. So .. how about yourself?”
The young woman smiled slightly and kept walking, her hands at her sides. She chuckled softly as she listened to Penny speak, seeming extremely interested in the girl. When she stopped talking, Fukawa tapped her chin and thought for a few moments before speaking.
“Well… I’m a first year student myself at Vale. I almost didn’t get in, my entrance exam scores were pretty… below average. They gave me a second chance because the headmaster saw potential in me. I retested and scored much higher.” She said with a giggle. “I guess I scored low because I was really nervous. Apart from being a student, I’m also a writer. Other than that, I don’t do much. So, do you know anything fun to do here in the city?”
