If you’re a little chubby and you wanna cosplay Sailor Moon, do it.
If you’re really thin and you wanna cosplay Rose Quartz, do it.
If you’re black and you wanna cosplay Tamaki Suoh, do it.
If you’re white and you wanna cosplay Dogkeeper, do it.
If you and your friend both want to cosplay the same person, do it.
That last one is kinda a big deal and I don’t ever see anyone talking about it, so I’m gonna expand.
If your friend wants to cosplay Herione Granger, and you also want to cosplay Hermione Granger, don’t fight over it. Don’t decide that “they’d make a better Hermione anyways, so I’m not gonna do it”, don’t think that there can’t be two Hermione Grangers. Help each other with it. “hey, where’re you getting your wig? I think I found a cheaper one.” “did Amazon have the tie you needed? If not, [insert place] has them” “what type of shoes are you getting? I can’t decide on mine”.
