What's the apocolyspe they're dealing with the post of? One post says post apocolyptic winter. Does that mean there's a permemant winter? Harsher? What are the conditions exactly? Is the cause of the apocolypse known? Are there theories? How much has society recovered since?
Are there only robots or also humans in this world? Do the robots need some sort of fuel or electricity to survive? If so, how are they obtaining it?
What are all their personalities? From the last drawing in Cobalt and Cirrus's post, it seems the former is more serious and the latter has more whismy? What about the others!! How does the one that smokes actually inhale any of the smoke!!!!!!!
First of all oh jeez you sure are curious! I haven’t even figured out in detail for some of the stuff you’ve asked nor expected to be asked this type of question so apologies and things might change over time 😅.
So the setting is post apocalyptic winter but not a permanent one. I’m leaning into making it decades long, it will end eventually.
The cause of the apocalypse due to miscalculation by humans trying to stop an ECO apocalypse because of the climate crisis, which was worsening due to a world war starting. Not much info is known besides the fact it was a group of international scientists operating in Switzerland that was trying to solve the issue… right in the middle (actually beginning half) of a world war…
Society recovery is so far slow. All the bots are living in groups or by themselves and for the most part stay indoors but have started to go out exploring.
Humans are considered extinct at this point but some bots think that they actually still alive.
For fuel, yes (for most) they need fuel and are usually scavenging for it along with other resources.
As for Gale smoking i literally don’t know out it’s just some sci-fi bullshit of them managing to make stuff like drugs and alcohol.
Cobalt is the serious “lone wolf” type. He mostly became this way due to working for a mining company before the “The Great Freeze” happened. In usual corporate fashion the company of course wasn’t taking good care of their “employees”. I kind of want to push him into being morally gray but atm I’m not sure yet.
Cirrus is a nice and naive guy, kind of like SpongeBob from the early seasons. The poor guy has memory loss unfortunately so he’s kind of a fish out of water in some scenarios. Since he’s from the Northern Coastal region of California, Cirrus is natural lover.
The two are “friends”. In Cirrus’s optics they’re best friends and in Cobalt’s it’s more like “this guy won’t leave me alone”.
For Gale and Lexis I don’t really have much besides Gale being a chill stoner and Lexis being sweetheart and she’s painfully shy. I still gotta work on them.
