Why take the chance showing The Interview (Sony)? North Korea is no joke!

All you BIG SHOTS saying Sony should not have pulled the movie, The Interview... YOU rent a concert hall, show the Movie and make sure you inform Kim Jong-Un and the North Koreans where and when you are showing it and pack it full of your closest family and friends. Theaters are not risking showing when there is basically a bomb threat at every theater releasing it! If terrorist had called in the plane crash, to the World Trade center, I guarantee it would have been evacuated. If a threat is... called into a school... evacuated! Same thing! We have freedoms in our country and that's fine, but some countries don't have these freedoms and you can't change their mind like you can't change their religion. Go ahead.. taunt a crazy person with nuclear weapons, go ahead. It's so easy to sit behind your computer and Tweet about how we should stand up to terrorism, but when you are in a Coffee shop in Australia and a terrorist has a gun to your head, I bet you shut up. Freedom comes with common sense and responsibility. You only live once so if you want to take your chances standing up to an unstable man running an unstable country be my guest. Remember 9-11? We have already lost a lot of our freedoms. It's a different world and you just have to be happy that you live in a country that allows freedom of speech and expression within it's own borders. After a theater gets blown up and people die.. at least we stood up to Kim Jong-Un and terrorism. Wiring Trailer Brake Controller 2003 GMC Chevrolet From Earlier Models 1999 2000 2001

Having trouble with your trailer brake controller wiring swap from your older Chevy or GMC to your new truck? Like many people, I got a newer truck and thought that simply removing the trailer brake controller from my 2001 GMC Silverado and plugging it in to my 2003 Chevrolet Silverado would be that easy. Well it wasn’t that easy, but still pretty easy with the right information.

For some reason Chevrolet decided to swap just 2 wires on the trailer brake plug receptacle. In the 2003 and later GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado models, GM swapped only two wires from the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 GMC/Chevrolet Silverado truck wiring schematic. In my Draw Tite trailer brake controller it was the Light Blue and Brown. The Light Blue color wire was labeled A and the Brown wire was D. See photos, schematics and wiring charts for more detail and watch the YouTube video if you need more information on the wiring fix. You can either cut the A and D wires and splice A to D and D to A or you can simply swap the A and D wire at the wiring harness connection. You don't even have to reattach the wire A (Brown) if you only have a 4 wire break controller that doesn't require an illumination connection. This wire simply illuminates a display on certain controllers when he headlights are turned on. If you were removing a newer electric brake controller and installing in an earlier model Chevrolet or GMC then you will do the opposite wire switch.

Swapping trailer brake wiring at the harness connection is very simple and takes only a few minutes. The first thing you do is remove the blue clip or keeper as shown in the photo. An flathead, eyeglass screwdriver will be all you need for this wire swap. Then carefully push screwdriver between the wire harness plug tab and individual wire connector within the harness plug and pull wire back or or push out from the front end that you are working on. After you remove both wires, just push the (teal) wire that was in the A position into the D slot and the (brown) wire that was D into the A slot. I had the DrawTite brake controller with these wire colors, but they could be any color depending on brand or individual brake controller installation. My colors included a large RED wire, large Blue wire, teal, brown and black. You may have a white wire or a yellow wire in there so that is why we are talking about the letters in relation to wire position.

  Do not attempt to perform and electrical repairs to your vehicle without disconnecting the batter first. If you are not 100 percent sure that your trailer brake controller will work using this method or you have another make vehicle, please seek help from an experienced technician. You may also want to use a voltmeter to double check the wiring by comparing both vehicles, but you will have to connect the battery. These instructions are based on removing a DrawTite Activator 2 from a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and modifying the wiring to work with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. Later model vehicles may not work with these instructions so consult a technician before attempting, to see if the wiring scheme is the same.

Why Does Restaurant Food Taste Better Than...?

Restaurants are in business to make delicious food that makes you want to come back for more. The answer to the question of "why is restaurant food better than home", is more than just because they use a professional chef and fresh ingredients.

First of all, the restaurant chefs are not using healthy substitutes. They use real butter and real sugar. They fry foods in lard and not vegetable oil. While at home, you may be repulsed by these things, since all your life you have been told how bad they might be for you. Your bland, or even flavorless, healthy, home cooked meal may get you closer to that weight loss goal, but don't complain about the taste if you aren't going all the way with those calories.

You go to the restaurant because the food taste better than what you cook at home. Large chain restaurants follow certain protocol to keep consistent with their brand. They can't afford not to be consistently good or word gets out quick. Their recipes have been perfected for taste and presentation. Restaurants use a lot more salt too. I don't mean table salt like you cook with at home. They may have different salts for different dishes like kosher salt and sea salt. Chinese restaurants use many different varieties of soy sauce, so duplicating what they do is hard as well. Restaurants also buy the best meats that are not typically available in a regular grocery store. They buy the USDA Prime (best) meats while you get the USDA Choice (next best) or USDA Select (least quality) at the grocery store. Restaurants also age the meat in controlled temperatures that you can't do safely in your standard consumer grade refrigerator, without the risk of spoiling. Meats are cooked at very high temperatures in the 700F (370C) degree range. Your standard household 240VAC oven range doesn't reach those temperatures. The cooks at these restaurants know how to cook at these temperatures to give the steaks a good searing while trapping those tasty juices in the meat.

Now lets get down to the truth, the big shocker, the dirty little secret! Believe it or not, MSG (Monosodium glutamate) is also slipped in those recipes. The secret weapon is MSG. It's another key ingredient that makes restaurant food taste better than yours. The food industry dumps it in your food like candy. KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is a huge lover of MSG. I think Budweiser stole their Super Bowl commercial, "Puppy Love" idea from YouTube videos seen here. These videos of a puppy and a horse playing around was posted 3 years before the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial of 2014 came out. Budweiser did a great job telling this story, but this video is the real life original puppy love according to it's publisher. Who really knows what ideas came from where, but I like these YouTube videos the best because they are real and you see a true relationship between this bulldog puppy and horse that wasn't staged.

How To Boil An Egg.

This subject seems like a no brainer. You put eggs in water and boil them, right? Well, how long do I boil eggs? Do I throw the eggs in the pot when the water is already boiling? Do I bring the water to a boil with the eggs already in the pot? These are questions that must be answered. I never thought this could be such a problem. The problem with an egg, unlike other foods, is that you can't see what you are cooking. There is no way to tell that it's done, since the egg is encapsulated in a shell that gives no indication of cooked or not. With pasta, you can see the texture change and the instructions are on the box. Chicken changes color an you can cut it open to check if you are unsure. Scrambled egg become solid and rubbery. I do have a great scrambled egg technique that I will add to this post at a later date.

I was about to learn how to boil an egg for the first time in my life, in my late 30s. I am not a big fan of eggs, and don't usually eat them, and when I do, I prefer scrambled eggs. I may have boiled eggs when I was a kid, with my mother, but that cooking lesson didn't stick with me. My wife recently decided to raise pet chickens as a hobby. The next thing you know, I have to move eggs around the refrigerator to get to the milk, soda, meat and potatoes. After six months of eggs piling up, I decided to start eating them just to keep the supply down. We were already paying for the chickens to eat, so we might as well take advantage of their offerings. My wife wanted to boil an egg and neither of us knew exactly how. After some online searches and many results on how to boil eggs, we found this very simple, to the point, video that helped us through our egg boiling dilemma.
