Our French operation, Imerys Talc Luzenac France, was one of the 2016 Imerys SD Challenge winners this year with its efforts to integrate its mountain-top Trimouns talc mine into the surrounding landscape. Initiatives include on-going revegetation to return land to its natural state, biodiversity inventories, encouraging industrial eco-tourism, developing a hiking trail around the mine and promoting summer pasture grazing. Congratulations to the team!
