Bad News..

Okay guys, I’ve done a lot of thinking about this and unfortunately, I’m going to have to put Jackson on a hiatus for now. Everything I’ve tried to do to get any inspiration for him..has failed. My replies and everything that goes along with that have been suffering because of it. I feel I just need to take a break and maybe just focus on Cam for awhile. I can’t think of anything for Jackson right now, and I don’t want to drop him because I love playing him. I’m just..lost. I’m so incredibly sorry, but for the time being, he had to go to London for things going on with his folks, who are now living there, and he’ll be there until I can think of something. With this post, he has said goodbye to everyone he loves and he’s close with. Malia, Talia, Lydia, and especially Derek. I wouldn’t have him just up and leave, so if your character was close with Jackson, feel free to say that he did say goodbye and what not. Again I’m sorry, but I don’t know what else to do. I love you guys and I hope you all understand. :(

Scott choked a little, pulling his lips together tightly and tried desperately to keep himself from looking embarrassed. He had been running around rather awkwardly, searching in every direction, feeling the grass for dampness, trailing back and forth off the beaten path. He’d been too preoccupied to notice Jackson until he was closer. “Yeah, well, I care about the safety of this place so… if I have to do a little detective work, then so be it.” Usually he left the detective work to Stiles, but he somehow felt personally responsible. 

Jackson threw his head back and laughed, “Wait a minute. Did you just say that you care about this place? Wow, you have a funny way of showing that. Was it you being gone for as long as you were, just proving to everyone how much you ‘care’? Because I have a surprise for you McCall, you haven’t shown anyone, in a long time, that you care. Everyone in this town has gone through hell while you were god knows where else. Do you even ‘care’ that Deaton’s gone?! That he died actually doing something?”

It had been mostly dry the last few days in Beacon Hills so Scott decided the best way to find the Yuki-Onna was to see if he could find any obscure water puddles due to melted ice. It was a good idea, he thought, but it involved a LOT of running and a LOT of searching. This particular morning, he found himself pretending to jog in the park, thinking he could find some kind of sign of her presence. He stopped briefly to take a break by a bench when he noticed someone coming his way and he nodded politely to them, but his tone seemed sarcastic. “Nice day, huh? Completely dry. No puddles anywhere.”

Jackson had been watching Scott for awhile. And he couldn’t help but laugh at the way he was acting. Finally, when he couldn’t take anymore, he heads over to him and shakes his head, “Are you feeling okay McCall? Not that I care about how you feel, but you’re acting like a dog looking for a bone or something.” Stepping closer, he plops himself down on the bench, “Oh there’s puddles, more than likely blood puddles. This is Beacon Hills after all.”

So I’ll be dropping all Jackson and Cam threads for obvious reasons. I’m sorry. But please hit me up for plots, my boys need it! :) And thanks to the admins, you guys are very patient with my shittiness. <33

Everything was starting to feel like a dream. Without Lydia, things were just… They weren’t right. He knew now what his life was supposed to be like. and it was gone. One big bad gone, another here. It felt like a messed up dream. but that was how a lot of things felt now a days. He just felt… Misplaced. His sneakers hit the bottom of the porch and then.. He tripped over someone. He landed with a grunt and looked at the figure. “Is there a reason you’re stationed outside my house?” he got out, pushing himself up enough to dust himself off.

“There’s a very good reason Stilinski. You vanish without a trace, when Lydia needs you the most, so of course once I caught your scent and I knew that you were here, I decided to wait until you came out because I knew you would eventually. Man I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that McCall just disappears and says nothing to his pack, or you disappear when you need to be here for Lydia. Actually, I’m going with the latter.”

Lydia had a lot of amazing people in her life. The banshee couldn’t even put into words how grateful she was for those that she met over the last few years. While all of the trauma and battled fought had recently took a toll on Lydia, she really wouldn’t change any of it for the world because she met the most incredible group of friends. Even Jackson, who she knew before the supernatural- he had become such a different person these days. A person Lydia was comfortable around. She was really blessed and what Jackson said got to her; Lydia didn’t want to leave them behind. She couldn’t. “I do love that kiss face emoji. The hair flip too” She joked, a small smile growing on her face. “And I’m going to try to get through this, alright? Just do me a favor and don’t tell anyone?” Lydia knew it was a lot to ask but she had to try. “I want to figure it out on my own and you know how much I hate seeming weak. I don’t want anyone knowing.”

Jackson sighed when Lydia said what favor she wanted him to do. Because as much as he cared about her, he didn’t know if he could keep something like this a secret. But unfortunately, he nodded before he could stop himself, “I won’t say anything, only under the condition that if something is bothering you, you call me or send me five hundred hair flip emojis if you have to. And please stop saying things like you’re weak, or you seem weak. You’re the furthest from any kind of weakness. You survive everything that gets thrown at you, I honestly wish I could be as strong as you are.” Smiling softly, Jackson takes Lydia’s hand in his own, “I know you’ll get through this. Just don’t forget..you’re not alone, you have me..”

As Jackson explained, she realized he knew exactly how she was feeling. She was just glad she didn’t actually end up killing anyone, or she’d be a complete mess. Right now, she was just still pissed. She cracked a small smirk as she looked up at him. “I forgot how conceited you are.” She mumbled in a playful tone.

“Well that’s definitely a first. The main thing everyone remembers about me is how conceited I am, and how much of an asshole I am. I’m kind of disappointed that you forgot.” Smiling, Jackson leans over and kisses Talia’s cheek, “It’s okay. Just please stop blaming yourself.”

“She snapped out of the possession before she could kill me. I wasn’t going to stop her, Jackson. That’s what scares me.” Lydia was nervous about telling Jackson all of this but as he said- he was one of her best friends. The boy was very important to Lydia in more than one way and she was comfortable around him. Even more comfortable now than when they were together. “I know. Talia keeps telling me the same thing. That people would be upset if I were to die.” Lydia nodded, feeling terrible at how upset Jackson seemed to be over the thought. She had heard Talia mention that before but never actually got to see it firsthand. Knowing that she was important to people, it almost changed her mind for a moment. Almost.

“Talia is very smart then. I mean sure there’s been times when doing that is just the easier option. But Lydia, look at what and who you would be leaving behind. How many people would feel lost because you were gone. And I know with me for a fact, I don’t know if I could deal with waking up every morning and know that I will never receive another text from you with your kiss face emoji attached to it. You’re strong enough to fight through this and whatever monsters are in your head.”

Lydia felt another tear roll down her cheek as she listened to Jackson. She believed him when he said that if she had control over everything, no one would ever get hurt. Unfortunately, Lydia was not in control. People kept getting injured no matter how hard she tried and she wasn’t sure she could take that pain anymore. “I almost let Talia kill me tonight.” Lydia said quietly, not even sure why she was admitting that to Jackson. But it scared her so much and she needed to tell someone. For some reason, Lydia trusted Jackson. She always had. “She had her claws up to my throat and I didn’t fight back. I didn’t want to fight back.”

At Lydia’s confession, Jackson helped her up and walked with her over to the closest couch. Shaking his head, he cups her face and sighs, “I’m very glad that you didn’t let her, or she decided not to. Whatever it was, I wouldn’t be okay if something ever happened to you Lydia. You were my first love and now you’re my best friend. You’re such a huge part of my life, and to not have you in it at any point..” Sighing again, he decided not to wipe this tear away.

“Yeah, and I also almost killed all of my friends in the process,” Talia replied bitterly as she shook her head slightly. “I can’t believe I let someone get a hold of my mind like that..The anger she felt when she thought about the spirit that possessed her that night was unlike anything she’d ever felt before. "I almost killed my boyfriend.” And then almost Lydia. But she wasn’t going to mention that, not with how well it had gone over last time she told Jackson something like that. 

Jackson huffed out a breath and crossed his arms over his chest, “And I didn’t? Did you forget that I was a lizard-thing being controlled by someone at one point? That I was actually killing people as some kind of sick vengeance. I almost killed Lydia, Allison, and I did kill Isaac’s father. So if you want to talk about possessions and having no control over what you’re doing, do it with someone else, because I trump you on that category.”

Talia laughed really quietly and pulled away from the hug, then shoved his shoulder lightly. She honestly missed Jackson a lot, even if he was a conceited jerk at times.“Oh shut up.” She mumbled as she kept shaking her head. The smile faded almost as quickly as it grew, and she found herself looking down.

Jackson was glad to hear Talia laugh and to see her smile. But when it faded and she lowered her head, Jackson shook his. Reaching forward, he lifts her head with his finger, “Don’t do that. You have no reason to be looking down at the floor. You survived, I think that warrants you keeping your head up.”

As much as Lydia hated to admit it, Jackson was right. He knew her better than most people because they’d been through a lot together. Jackson had seen many different sides to the banshee and vice versa. She couldn’t lie to him no matter how hard she tried. “Everything is my fault!” Lydia hadn’t intended to yell but she just couldn’t stop herself. “This is what I do. I bring death with me everywhere I go. How could you not blame me for this?”

“I know I’ve been an asshole to you many times Lydia, but please believe me when I say that I never blamed you for anything. You have one of the most purest hearts that I’ve ever seen. You’ve sacrificed so much for the people in your life, me included. If you had control over everything, no one would ever get hurt. There is not an evil bone in your body, nor is there any need or want to hurt someone. You help everyone that you can. And you don’t bring death, you find it. You live with that everyday, you’re braver than I could ever be.”

Talia hesitated for a moment before finally hugging Jackson back and sighing into his chest. She knew that he could sense her chemosignals, which were probably filled with anger and frustration. She wasn’t even sad about the whole thing, just unbelievably pissed. She wished she could fine whoever the hell did that to her and make them suffer, and she found herself hugging Jackson tighter just at the thought of it. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever,” She mumbled.

Jackson took a shaky breath and still didn’t let go, “Because you haven’t really. I’ve been taking a lot of time to myself. You know, I’ve got to really start thinking about myself more.” Smiling softly, he knew that couldn’t have been further from the truth, he just hoped that it would put a smile on Talia’s face. Even if it’s a barely there one. He would consider that a success.
