The movie Pitch Black is one of the best "mindless" movies that I love to watch. 100% recommend watching for a movie that's a lil' sci-fi, a lil' action/adventure, and a lil' horror. Released in the 2000's but reminds me of an 80's or 90's movie; has an essence of Alien to it. Twists that I hadn't expected, ideas that (sadly weren't fully fleshed out) had you truly wondering how the characters were going to solve them, and some pretty good acting make this movie very entertaining. Some odd shots and one-liners made me burst out laughing; another comedic point is the not-so-good special effects. Vin Diesel was one of the main characters and got a spin-off movie series from it (which I have not seen yet). Lots of little fun-facts behind this movie that makes it even more interesting. And the main actress Radha Mitchell is SOOO cute (I got a haircut a bit ago and just realized it's the exact one that she had, and I'm so glad bc I WANT TO LOOK LIKE HER OMG). Please watch this movie!! I want to hear what other people think about it.
