04 July 2024 | few more weeks left before this term ends yet I’m still here saying that this is exhausting (when I wasn’t even studying the past few weeks and just heavily relying on my luck).

I mean who in the right mind would someone ask to read a 300+ page book in less than a month and ask for book review and book report 😭 but idk what i feel i still crave for this prof’s validation!

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to love someone so much to be married to him. I like the company, but I can’t imagine myself in all the in between. I will not also feel sad because being a bystander happy for someone else, is also happy.

Reintroduction

Hello! It’s 2023 and I’m turning 26 in 6 months. It’s crazy how I’ve been on Tumblr since I was in High School (I think?) — which like at least 13 years ago — and now I’m working and studying Masters in International Studies at De La Salle University. I also got into kpop, and I am so in love with BTS! But I also like Seventeen, Le Serrafim, Mamamoo, TXT, and Twice. Never in my wildest dream thought I’d be fangirling them, but I did!

This makes me feel old. I think only a few people stay here now and even the layout changed. Oh, how I missed how I use to spend all my time here.

Anyway, hello there! I decided to revamp my account and finally use it for #Studyblr because I missed posting about my workspace and I also need motivation and tips.

diet culture is so rooted in the idea that our bodies are machines that our minds have to outwit. it pushes for the idea that hunger is something you have to “beat”, that cravings are an annoyance to ignore or outwit, that the way our bodies want to look and want to be is something to fight, that it needs to be helped to do things it was built to do.

here is the liberating truth- your body is so smart and it is trying to help you. it works so hard to keep you alive- sometimes it fails at what it’s trying to do, sometimes it does it in unconvential ways, but it is trying to keep you alive! hunger is our body saying “we need food”- it’s not something to ignore or supress. cravings are our body saying “we need a specific type of food”- they aren’t something to trick or prevent. natural weight and weight distribution are our body saying “this is the shape in which we work best”- they aren’t something to control or reduce. denying this is what hurts us most- even though diet culture tries to tell us that listening to our bodies and treating them with kindness and forgiveness is wrong.

it’s the first day of 2019 and let me just say that this year’s new year’s eve celebration felt so different than the previous years.

oddly different, but whatever.

it felt so homey even if my family is incomplete or even if we didn’t have such a grand celebration.

ughhhh i love my family even if they are flawed in their own wicked ways. i love my friends and they really help bring out the best in me & improve my character. i love everything that has happened/ are happening in my life and i’m so thankful. i hope that these will all continue till 2020.
