I got to see him in concert when I was about 10. He came on stage late, apologized to the crowd while explaining that Lucille was stuck in traffic, and just told stories until she got to the venue. He didn't want to keep his fans waiting any longer than we had, but he wouldn't play with anyone else. Thank you for not retiring, Mr. King.

Ferguson schools have been shut down and there are a lot of kids that depend on school lunches. For some that can be the only meal they receive in a day. Ferguson is a food desert right now.

United Way of Greater St. Louis has created the Ferguson Fund to support a coordinated approach around community building, mental health needs, basic needs and long-term strategies.

100% of dollars donated to the fund will go toward helping those affected by the recent events in Ferguson.

thank you all so much for the love and support that's been sent our way in the past week. my nephew is stable but very sick. he's having surgery today- which means prolonged risk of infection, healing, and life in the Shriners' ICU. for those of you asking what you can do to help, this site has been set up to help with their medical bills. but most importantly please just keep the juju coming their way. xoxo
