#some time ago i had the opportunity to load ts2 on a windows computer for a day or two #this is just what i've played with during that time #aka hood deco #i really miss the game sometimes but other times i'm kinda happy that i have more time for other hobbies

with a heavy heart...

...I have to say goodbye to the Sims. My Macbook came back from the repair shop today after overheating on me and turning off. They told me that Macbook Airs were not made for games and that if I run it on constantly high temps (TS2 would heat up my laptop to 95-100 celsius), I am in danger of frying up insides of the computer. I’m planning on buying a Macbook Pro in a couple of years, so perhaps I’ll come back to the game then, but for now, I’m waving goodbye to the game. It sucks, especially since I had so many ideas and was looking forward to be sharing the updates of ‘We, Kinfolk’, but I can’t afford to fry my Macbook right now. :( I’m still going to be on Tumblr, because I enjoy all of your posts a lot, but won’t be posting anything.

TL;DR: Macbook can’t take the heat TS2 generates. Quitting the Sims (at least for a couple of years).

Karlie, while not particularly sold on the idea of moving back to Morlake, took every opportunity to oppose Oliver. This time was no exception. The room was filled with tension and Karlie was revelling in it, using it as an excuse to bite her ex-boyfriend, the only person that still gets on her nerves after all the years that have passed.

Avery didn’t understand a thing his parents and relatives were talking about. He was born after the tragedy and didn’t know what Morlake meant to each and every person in that room. But he remembered his parents talking about it in hushed tones before and it was also mentioned when he asked his mom where were his grandparents from her side of the family. To hear about Morlake again and to hear about the possibility of moving there... he felt uneasy, perhaps even scared. He thought, if something bad happened there, why do they want to come back?

Wedding Barn
