Is there anyone alive still on this thing?

I haven't been on or posting lately because honestly, the less I post the happier it means I have been in my real life. Of course I have my complaints and I'd rather not be working, but it could always be worse and I'm emotionally pretty full. :)

I want to stay consistent in putting out entries on this though for both my own sake and as a little intrusive nugget for anyone that might know me IRL and comes across this. I do want to say... I chose a stupid name and I can't for the life of me remember why I chose this as a username. I think it had to do with Deadpool? And then immortalpool? And then... what it is now lol. So dumb! I also stopped posting on Twitter over a year ago. Also a nice change, but I genuinely miss reading about the little blurbs that people I don't get to talk to in my every day would post!!! There's something about this stuff and certain social media sites that encouraged people blurt out their most personal thoughts and opinions. I don't always like those opinions, but knowing another's thought process and how they are is really cool and I wish Instagram or tiktok allowed for more of that.

my boyfriend is 11 hours of a time difference away and sleeps in, in the morning so sometimes I’ll stay up late waiting to see if he’ll message or call me when he wakes up. And then I start thinking about, oh maybe he’s not really sleeping in and he just doesn’t want to talk to me or doesn’t care to.

AND THEN I’m like damn I’m not calling him tho??? maybe he’s waiting for me to contact him for once!? but I’m already feeling too insecure to bother him if he’s sleeping and then I fall asleep, it’s the next day and I go to class until it’s his turn to sleep. I’m sure I need to talk to him about these things, but I don’t want him to think I’m this emotionally unstable person.

Realistically, I’m over here overthinking and worrying that I’m not doing enough or that he actually hates me and he’s probably just fine and thinks we’re fine and I’m paranoid over nothing.
