“Yeah I was the prince who insgated your slaughter, took down your king when they entered Asgard.” Loki replied looking at the other for a moment rolling his eyes at the other’s display he was hardly scared of them. 

“Joyous another Frost Giant here on Misgard, you can’t walk around like that here or they’ll lock you up. I have no wish to Slay you, I’ve got better fish to fry.” Loki replied moving to take a seat to watch the other for a moment. “What is your purpose here?”

“T-the king? You lie.” Bard growls, refusing to believe his adoptive father was dead. “Asgard’s...all they know is taking and conquering. Sealing the nine realms gates while you all sit on the gold you stole from our lands. And for what? Is your bloodlust satisfied now he’s dead? A great king who cared for his people...” Sure they had a complicated relationship but Laufey did everything he could for his people. 

“Another? What do you mean another?” Rolling his eyes Bard flicks his wrist and adverse back to his weird pink fleshy body. “As stated earlier I just need sanctuary! Do you really think all Jotunns are bloodthirsty monsters?”

Loki tried hard not to sigh loudly after all of course Thor was thought of first when it came up “No I’m not Thor, I’m Loki the other Prince” He mused keeping up the hold on the other given he didn’t really want to show all his cards upfront if this person turned out to be a enemy.

“You better not have given how there are plenty of people here will put you down, though it seems like plenty use this place for Sanctuary so you should be safe.” he replied softly before tilting his head at the name of his birthplace this had to be a trap. “What about Jotunnheimr? Why do you speak of this place you definitely don’t look like a Frost Giant.”

“Other prince? Forgive me your highness...my Asgardian history is a bit flakey after being massify slaughtered by you lot.” Bard growls, his anger tightening in his chest. He couldn’t help but flare his teeth as a sign of aggression, although while in the Midgardian form it looked rather strange than intimidating as the fangs of a true Joutnn. 

The Joutnn rolls it’s eyes. “Your highness do you really not know?” As the words fall out of his mouth a blue magic covers his body like a film. Slowly the blue fades away starting from his left fingertips. The magic undoes itself, slowly Bard’s skin faded away the strange paleness into the beautiful blue he grew up with. Across his arms the tattoos he’d earned from the years slowly reveled themselves. When the magic finally finishes it flashes again leaving Loki with Bard in his original form. Ruby red eyes glare at the prince. “Slay me if you must...But I won’t go down without a fight.”

Harvey was still healing trying to push his rather dark past behind him and take up his fight against crime. Being a lawyer was sane, and simple something that he’d hope would keep him on the straight and narrow but at times he still felt the voice of something scratching to get out. “My consulting times have closed, they will reopen again at 8 AM please return then” He mused without looking at his documents before looking up “Unless there is something else you wish to discuss?” when he noticed they hadn’t left yet.

“Uh...” The Jotunn frets a little and finally settles his nerves letting out a deep sigh. “well, ya see. There was a misunderstandin or something...these people have accused me of theft but I’ve never stolen a day in my life! I kept offering equal payment yet the bastard just gave me the old stinker than listen to my woes...now.” He finally explains, “Do you think you could help me?”

Loki had to admit the other didn’t seem to hold magic like himself but his manner of speaking was that of someone similar to those off world. So he couldn’t let him go just like that. He’d worked hard to keep a level of decorum with the Avengers and he wasn’t about to let  this unknown ruin that for him. 

“Magic, is my specialty” was all he said making the other continued to walk with him. 

“I’m worse than that, I’m an Asgardian Prince, either way you will be telling me answers about what your doing here, and who you are.” He paused looking at the other. “You hate them that much is seen, I’ve also share that hatred at times, either way…you come from the Nine Realms but which one.” 

"A-asgardian prince??? P-prince Thor??" The first thought of an Asgardian made Bard immediately think of the stories of old. Stories of the Asgardian prince that forged many wars upon the different realms. Bard was holding onto it's courage as tightly as it could but being only feet away from such a legendary war general- Bard needed to get out of this magical trap.

Hate? Why would the Asgardian prince hate his own? The mans identity was becoming more and more confusing.

"I do not come to midgard to cause any destruction or trouble...I had come for sanctuary." It finally admits, letting out some of its tightly bound secrets. It was like pulling teeth but bard couldnt find it in him that he could trust this Asgardian. No, he can't because he is an Asgardian.

It clearly was way in over its head. It finally looks down at the ground and admits his homeland in the barest of whispers, "Jotunnheimr."

Loki had figure the man was going to run after all he seemed like all the other dunderheads in Asgard using his powers to make the male run through a portal ended back in front of him was easy enough to do. “Nice try, but we are done with our little chat” He mused moving his finger floating the male to follow after him “Now you made me do this the hard way, either you follow me of your own free will and we have a nice little chat or I’ll be forced to do something…not so nice.”

Running as fast as he could Bard was too distracted in it’s paranoia to notice that it was walking through a portal. It was already too late when the little Jotunn realized it was right back where it started. Suddenly a magical force was leading it towards the man. 

“Magic?? A Magician?” 

While Bard had magic of his own it was rather useless in combat. Leaving him with no choice but to follow along. Once the two were in a much more quiet place Bard finally speaks again. “If you are Asgardian I will not admit to anything.” It growls, it’s words dripping with malice. “All Asgardians are the same.” Bard grips it’s fists tightly, hoping it’s glare was threatening enough to hide the fear hidden deep within.

She walked in stride, expecting him to catch up and wondering if it would be more polite to walk slower (she never cared about polite before, after all). “And your own?” She asked as a secondary thought. “I am not Midgardian.” It was said plainly, Sylvie saw no use in concealing it after all. “However I have bore witness to Midgardians gifted in the magical arts, a very rare few though.” She explained. 

“Bard.” It couldn’t help looking a little solemn. It couldn’t offer a last name for it no longer owned one. It further seeped in how alone the Jotunn was in this world he barley understood. All he knew were fragments of stories that he could barley remember. 

“Ah apologies, I wasn’t aware that any other species than Midgardians were in midgard..” It had always thought not much was known about Midgard since it was so hard to access it...Especially since the Asgardians had taken over and blocked the realms gateways. 

“There is not much I know of this realm...I don’t even understand the strange fashion you all wear? why is it so thin and open? Why doesn’t anyone have any proper weapons' or armor equipped?”

Jumping at the sudden coldness, Kurt giggled and swatted Bard’s hand away.

“Hey, that’s cold!” the mutant protested, pouting slightly. “But it’s nice to meet you, Bard. Even if you are a bits rude.” His German accent still snuck through from time to time, as embarrassing as it was for him.

“Strange...” Bard stares at his finger intensely. Usually a fellow Jotunn’s skin would shift at such stimulation. While he knew other species had such a tone he didn’t think such had been in Midgard. It was just too weird and maybe Bard was just hoping to see someone from his own kind. Deciding to keep an eye on the Midgardian it tries to gain some of it’s trust. 

Pulling his shawl open a little Bard pulls out some of his dried spiced meat and places it in the boy’s hand. “Eat.” Bard demands, it was an offering for getting him some hot food. Putting some of the bun and meat in his mouth and immediately shoves as much as he can in his cheeks. 

“It’s delicious.” it reports and then frowns at the boy’s rhetoric, “does the cold bother you Midgardian?”

Loki watched the other for a moment it was clear Midgard wasn’t their hometown in the first place. “I can tell, you are attempting to barter which was something they’ve long since changed to a monetary system.”  He mused watching the other eat. “It’s called a Hot Dog” 

Loki looked around their little audience had since died down with his interference but still it wouldn’t do well to have someone so unknown within this terrible city. “That they are, given your use of terms and my lack of knowledge of you I assume you from off world but not Asgard?” 

Asgard. As soon as Bard heard the word a multitude of micro expressions cross his face.  His eyebrows had scrunched up, and his lips turned quickly into a frown. Anxiously Bard shoves the so-called-hot-dog in it’s mouth again.  “I must be going...” he quickly mumbles out, mouthful with an almost panicked expression. Was it common place for Asgardians to be in Midgard? Were they aware a Jotunn was in Midgard... 

Fear clouding his judgment he starts to try and walk away from the man and slip back into the crowd. Thoughts ablaze...bard was a bit curious about the green man. Was it making a mistake? Was it running from a friend or foe? The giant rubs his head in confusion. Things were so much easier back at home...

Sylvie quirked a brow at the sight before her, this man was obviously not mortal nor from even earth. His frustration at the earthlings confusion made that all to clear. Deciding to get involved (more so out of boredom then generosity) she approached. “This should cover it,” She said, not actually putting forth money. Instead she enchanted the man easily (one of the smaller mortal brains, easy to manipulate). He handed the food over with the belief they were fully paid. “Come along.” She told the interesting young man. It was unlikely the enchanted man would otherwise snap out of the fixed delusion, but it was best not to linger. 

ah...magic. Finally something Bard was familiar with. Cheerfully he walks with the magician, perhaps she may have some clues about Midgard. Or maybe he should ask how to get back to his home...Jotunnheimmr. Even if there was nothing to go back to in it’s realm. “What is your name, Magician?” 

There was much Bard wanted to ask but it was unsure if this new person could be trusted yet. “are all Midgardians magically inclined?” It finally bursts out, unable to contain it’s curiosity.

Kurt had apparently arrived just in time, teleporting nearby. He hurried over to the scene and smiled reassuringly at the vender, pulling out his wallet.

“Don’t mind, don’t mind, I’ll pay for whatever they are having. I would also like 3 dogs myself!” Looking up at the taller figure, he smiled. “Hi, I’m Kurt!”

Bard had been on Midgard for enough time to know that they did not normally have skin colored in such a blue tone. But the man in question didn’t look as if he was from Jotunheimr.. Just to make sure it uses his internal magic and lowers the temperatures of it’s hand to freezing levels. Slowly he reaches over to poke the man to see if he was truly a Jotunn. Finally it realizes it’s being addressed. Quickly looking back up at- kurt Bard responds, “Bard.” It nods firmly at the Kurt.

“Show....what is a show.” The word felt funny in Bard’s lips. It was something very unlike Jotunn vocabulary. They had been discussing the throne...perhaps the show was a tool used for advantage to kingship. “Tell me more of this show!!”
