I guess I’m watching this now.
So it seems that the future has made all this advancement in scanning brains and can’t adapt that to reducing stress, to the point that law enforcement now makes criminals.
How did the brain experts miss this possibility? Aren’t they... like brain experts.
Yeah, the transforming gun is cool but it also tells the opponent in what mode your shooting as. Does the gun need to do that to shoot a stronger laser?
Having your target violently explode is actually an interesting draw back. It means you should avoid using it where civilians can see lest anyone sees that... butchery. Meaning that the police has to litterally work in the dark.
Wow, fuck these friends. Make her feel even more conflicted, why don’t chya.
“Such is the grace bestowed upon mankind by the sybil system”... god allusions?... god delusions.
Wait, her clothes are actually holograms? How does that work? What is she actually wearing? I hope at some point we meet a character who can look through holograms.
In the future we are too good for normal doors.
In the future we are too good for normal interior lighting.
... Are all the most useful people criminals? Is being competent a crime?
Girls in suits are a turn on for me... btw.
Ok, wow, good. So the system really does just punish thought crime.
Having someone on hand to stand back and do nothing might actually be a good thing. It keeps a clear headed person on hand.
Hopefully your purpose in the universe doesn’t upset the status quo... like at all.
... Jesus fucking Christ ... So... on top of punishing thought crime... this universe is filled with jealous, paranoid, and straight inhumane people, for whom thinking for oneself is considered profound. Jesus. Those last two scenes made me feel unable to keep watching... Sybil was wrong! Kill mode means the person is beyond saving and the person was then saved so... Jesus!
I wonder if this show is supposed to be some kind of commentary on modern (American) education’s insistence on testing things and rigid education. I’m not sure if that’s a thing in Japan but they have pretty strict education there too, don’t they?
