Jesse looked at the other and smiled once she accepted the free drink. “What’s your favourite beverage?” He asked. “I don’t want to buy you something that you hate.” The police officer looked at the other and shrugged once she asked him what he did. “I got more hours. I’m a cop, so I’m happy about it.” He confessed honestly.

“either a manhattan or a mai tai.” she said with a smile at jesse. “i’m pretty easy to please when it comes to drinks since i’m not exactly someone who is really that picky.” she admitted to jesse. “i guess getting more hours can be celebration to certain people. though this is probably the most fun time of my life since i will be working a lot of hours in a few years.” everyone who worked for her father wanted elise to get into politics since they thought she would be a good politician like her father.

“I don’t fault anyone who has a desk job. Some people can deal with it. I simply can’t.” Jesse didn’t mind doing it for a couple of hours here and there, but doing it constantly day in day out was a little draining in his eyes. The muscular cop sat himself up straighter and nodded his head, agreeing with the dark-haired girl. “I like experiencing the world.”

“i’m the same way.” she said with a smile. “i want to see everything the world has to see.” she admitted to jesse. “i mean, my father wants me to take over his company, but i don’t exactly know if that’s what i want.”

Mel had developed a bit of a habit of enjoying a hot beverage before her set, and some days she even indulged enough to ask for a bit of liquid courage in her cup. It was not like she suffered from stage fright, oh no. She loved the stage, loved the spotlight, but there was something about the burn of liquor under her skin that made it so much more delicious. Turning to the the voice that interrupted her thoughts, a warm smile spread on her face. Tonight was one of those nights when whiskey brought the color out in her cheeks. “Mm..oh,” her hand shot out as the syllable dropped. “These are gorgeous,” she said, turning in her seat so she could get a better look. “I would love to wear something like that on stage.”

for the most part, alyssa wasn’t afraid to show people her unfinished work since she was a perfectionist which led to her being confident with her work well enough to show people. some people may think her unfinished work is finished, but not for alyssa. she always made sure to add so much detail to her clothes, so that it was beautiful and no one could replicate it. that way she didn’t have to worry about knockoffs being past off as real since they couldn’t get her details exactly right. “you are singer?” she asked mel with a smile.

wren had been browsing at redwood, trying to find a nice suit for a work meeting he had tonight when he missed a few calls from his mother and manager, quickly exiting he went somewhere quite and private to return their calls. after wrapping up the rather swift conference call that could have and e-mail or text he found himself a seat, unaware of his surroundings. scrolling instagram on his phone he was in his own little world until he heard a feminine voice speaking to him. “do what?” He asked as he slowly look up from his phone, his lips pressed together. “oh, wow. Those are awesome. You’ve got some real talent.”

“i’d hope that i had some talent.” the brunette replied to him. “i mean, i’m a pretty famous fashion designer, it would be kind of bad if i didn’t have talent and people just had terrible taste in fashion.” she replied to him honestly. alyssa took pride her in designs and clothes she made, which made her a bit proud about it all. “also, ecstasy sells my clothes since i’m alyssa paxton of paxton & co.”

while zara might’ve been engaged, her and her fiancée had an open relationship, so it let to her flirting with a lot of people. “it’s a wonder to meet you lucy, i’m zara.” she introduced herself to her.

while some people would only be a person’s personal assistant for a few years, then go onto something bigger and better, but that wasn’t the case for zara. when she was kicked out of her home at only sixteen she started to work for jasper and saw a really different side of him then what most people saw. to zara, he was actually pretty kind and was never cruel to her like others. but at the same time, it might’ve been because of her personality, she wasn’t exactly the type of person to take crap from anyone. and her and jasper just work so well together. and while she has gotten offers to work for other people, but she always turned them down since she couldn’t imagine working for anyone who wasn’t jasper.

the brunette got up early like she did everyday, got ready for the day before heading to jasper’s room. she used her key for his room to entered and closed the door behind her. “good morning jasper, i hope you slept well.” she said with a bright smile. “mr. williams tried to cancel your meeting for next week and reschedule it for a third time, i told him if he did that then you wouldn’t be conducting business with him again and he gave in and said he would be there.” she said with a smile. zara knew what she wanted and would lie as a way to get it since most people believed her when she was act very serious. @deeppockcts​

alyssa tended to not bring her work with her to ecstasy, but sometimes she couldn’t exactly get her design perfect, which led to her taking longer to complete it and she would have to bring it to a quiet place around ecstasy to finish. and today was one of the days that she had to bring her work back with her. she was working on the sketch of the design she was doing when she noticed someone sit next to her. “what do you think?” she asked them.

A celebratory stack of Percocets coursed through Emir’s veins. To cancel out the early onset dizziness, he had his vape pen danced between him fingers. He’d done a good thing, he thought. Selfishly, he’d made someone feel better about their outward appearance and he’d earned this night. His hips swayed to the music while his lungs filled. He was on cloud nine before he realized that either he was in someone’s space or they were promptly in his. It’s sativa, or so the bastard selling it told me.”

felicity loved coming to the club as much as she could, the blonde loved dancing around having fun. she knew that the fun carefree life would probably not last forever, but she wanted to enjoy it for as long as she could. she was dancing around, not paying much attention to what was around her. “no thank you, i don’t exactly vape.” she knew her parents would kill her if she ever vaped or did drugs and that was something that felicity never really wanted to try.

The city came to life beneath her as she peered over the ledge. Cars sped by without a shred of consideration for anyone else. People bickered. They were loud and drunk. It was a typical night in Los Angeles, a place that she finally started calling home. It was a damn shame that the lights crowded her view of the sky. She could imagine that the stars beautifully painted it. Still, she’d accept this place of solitude as a consolation prize. When the door to the stairs came ajar, she immediately walked that thought back. “If you didn’t come bearing wine, you might as well turn around and head inside,” she joked, nose crinkling as she smiled.

“i mean i don’t have wine, though it would be nice if people were always carrying around a bottle of wine with themselves.” she said with a soft chuckle. “i can also go down to the bar and buy one if you want some wine though.” the princess replied to rory. victoria had unlimited funds while she was in america, her country wasn’t exactly hurting for money and her parents wanted to make sure she was happy in america since they knew that once this was over she would get serious and become the queen of their country.

Life was always full of ups and downs and whenever Lucy wanted to relax she was always looking for various ways of enjoyment. Something she could keep herself afloat. Thus when she spotted the hotel and club it was a no brainier for her to go and seek out the area.

Now that she’s been here for a few nights already, she was just standing outside of her very room as she receive a important phone call from her very old man. “Yes I understand thanks for reminding me.” She said hanging up the phone call before glancing over to the figure in the shadow. “Hello? It’s rude to stare you know.”

zara really enjoyed ecstasy, the hotel and club had so much to offer the woman and it definitely didn’t hurt that so many women in the place were very attractive to the woman. and when she saw an attractive woman, she couldn’t help but stare at them, even when she didn’t exactly notice she was. 

“i’m so sorry love, i didn’t mean to stare, it’s just you are so beautiful i couldn’t help myself.” zara smirked at her, she was never afraid to flirt with people.

She was just out the door but around a minute later Noa came back through the front door, rummaging through her bag. “Dammit, where did I put this damn thing?” While she appreciated the existence of modern technology there was one thing she kept old-fashioned, her personal organizer. She needed her schedule in her hands to properly plan her weeks and now this thing was gone. Although it had an aqua colored binder, therefore was hard to miss she couldn’t recall where she had put it. “Oh, please. Don’t be lost…”

luna got off on the wrong floor, not exactly realizing that until she was already midway through the floor. the girl might’ve had a drink too many at the club, so she wasn’t exactly all there at that exact moment. she noticed a woman looking through her bag and was a bit curious. “is everything okay?” luna asked her curiously.

Nathan wasn’t exactly someone who went to the gym much, if at all. But having the chance to use the gym inside the hotel, now that he was a bit too early for his shift at the club either way, he figured why not give it a try. Finding a spot and a free mat to use he did a little warm up before he did some sit-ups followed by a few pushups. Right in the middle of his pushups he could make out a pair of shoes standing near him. With a strained huff he spoke, “Give me a second, then this mat is all yours.” Finishing his pushups Nathan sat up and tried to catch his breath. “Okay, I’m finished for the next weeks.”

the gym was one of vanessa’s favorite places around ecstasy, she was able to just go there and get in a nice workout. growing up, she had a gym in her home that her parents had her spend most of her free time there growing up making sure that she was trained in martial arts and was good in fitness. “really? you only come here every few weeks, that doesn’t exactly help you get use to it.” she said.

Jesse was often kept busy with work, and keeping other people safe. He worked as a a cop outside of the hotel, so he was often kept on his feet needing to do different things for different people to keep things in the community running smoothly. That was one of the reasons on why he decided to live at the hotel. It had everything pretty much under one roof, and there was always people around that could keep him entertained in different ways. He was currently letting his hair down at the bar, having a beverage. He sensed someone entering the bar area. He could tell without even turning his head.  “Can I order you anything? I’m in a good mood tonight,” he said out loud.

“i mean, who am i to argue against a free drink.” elise replied to jesse. she was never really one to turn down anything that was free, something she got from people quite a lot, especially once they found out her father was the former president. though it was nice when elise didn’t have to tell people since it wasn’t the exact reason she wanted to get something for free. “so what is the news? if you don’t mind me asking.”

“I’m celebrating the fact that I don’t have to sit at a desk, and I actually get to go out in the cop car more.” Jesse admitted to Jasmine. He wasn’t good at sitting around and taking calls, and letting someone else do the more important aspect of the role. He wanted to involve himself in the action, and deal with peoples worries. “I can’t sit behind a desk for hours and hours. Admin roles aren’t for me,” Jesse confessed honestly. “I’d rather be chasing down some bad person, or driving fast to catch up with a stolen car or something,”.

“i mean i can understand that. not everyone can deal with having a desk job and everything. there is so much in life to experience and things you can’t always see when you have to sit behind a desk everyday.” she admitted to jesse. it’s why jasmine was unsure about finally getting into her father’s business since while she was smart, she never saw herself as made for a job that sat behind a desk everyday.

“Yeah, just like that,” Parker nodded, giving her an encouraging, if a bit lazy, smile. “Just tip the water over it—careful, it will steam up a lot right away. First time?” A bit playfully teasing, but far from unkind, and some sincerity to the question. She seemed uncertain of herself. “Shouldn’t stay in too long. A little while is good for you, but too long and you might get dehydrated and pass out.” There was a warning sign about that outside, but who really read that shit?

“i did read that, but thanks for the tip, would’ve been bad if i didn’t and the person in here didn’t care.” she said with a kind smile. “and yes, a lot of things here are really stuff i’ve never done before. my family didn’t have much luxury since they always saw the simple things as the best things.” she admitted.

Jesse liked being at the hotel because everything was under one roof. If he wanted a drink, he could get one. If he wanted to go in the pool, he could do that too. There was plenty of things to keep him entertained and preoccupied during his stay.  “My nights been fine. I haven’t done much, but minutes ago I finished up a call and I’m getting more hours, so I’m celebrating,” he admitted, raising his drink again slightly before taking another sip. “I’m allowed to drive around in the cop car, which is new for me. I sound like a right boy racer, but I’ve been cooped up in the station for most my work life, and I want to be out and about more, serving the citizens.”

“that’s very interesting, i don’t think many people celebrate more work.” the heiress said honestly to jesse. “i can understand that. i’ve never really been one to enjoy just sitting around doing nothing.” she replied to him. a lot of people who knew jasmine just saw her as a rich heiress because that want she portrayed tot he media, they saw her as someone who never had to work a day in her life or will work a day in her life. the truth was that she was in la getting a mba to take over her father’s business when he retired, but she was fine with them seeing her as an airhead.

“he has been, especially in the most recent years, he is planning on moving his operations down to texas. it’s why he wants me to get involved so he can move his second in command to new york.” she knew her father would never mess with california since while he and arthur were enemies, he didn’t want to piss him off by touching his territory.
