it  was  noxious  to  feel  physically  vulnerable.    the  groggy  mist  of  scrying  had  obscured  his  sensibilities,   enough  that  past  frights  and  certain  discomforts  blurred  with  his  intelligence.   the  closeness  draws  sharp  scrutiny,    even  as  his  lids  struggle  to  keep  awake.   fists  clasp  the  earth’s  crust,   breathing  shallow  and  alarmed.    from  futile  chance  he  attempts  to  lift  himself,    only  to  fall  into  poor  defeat  from  his  own  exhaustion.    unknowingly  his  hand  finds  the  other’s  shoulder,   clasped  tight  with  a  disquieting  violence.    only  then  did  he  recognise  the  face,    and  found  a  name  for  it.      ❝        —– ———-   klaus  ?        ❞

&        when    the    blonde    finds    his    ameliorate    upon    the    hybrid’s    shoulder,        klaus    brushes    it    off    with    a    nod,        helping    him    up    whilst    leaning    him    against    his    own    frame        -------        he    didn’t    weigh    much.        a    chuckle    leaves    past        WORRIED    /    confident        physique,        brows    furrowing        &        smile    decreasing    by    each    sigh    ken    let    out.        when    he    hears    his    name,        there’s    a    grin    that    rises,        resting    him    against    an    abandoned    log,        one    that    probably    belonged    to    someone    who    it    meant    something    to    more    than    them.        ❝        quite    flattered    to    know    you    remember    me.        you’re    always    too    drunk    to    recognise,      KEN.        ❞

scrying  could  get  him  to  places,     most  of  them  unknown  to  his  conscious.   how  the  other  had  managed  to  find  him  wherever  here  was  is  another  confusion  he  had  difficulty  deciphering.    dazed,   vision  veers  to  the  right,   sticky  hands  brushing  rotten  leaves  and  blood  stained  twigs  of  his  skin.    the  crackled  jar  beside  him  had  leaked  itself  of  the  water  it  once  held,   and  upon  the  vaguely  familiar  voice  that  echoed  to  him,    there  was  little  there  to  support  his  memories.   stirring,   his  fingers  clasp  the  small  strands  of  hair  near  his  canted  neck.   migraines  throttled  him,    his  chest  hollow  and  shivering  cold.        ❝     MHN  —- ——- —    where    – – ——   where  am  i  ?   ❞
