C-CLOWN members’s Ray and Maru will be attending their own graduation ceremonies.
The group C-CLOWN’s members, Ray and Maru, will each be graduating from either Hanlim Entertainment Arts School, located in Songpa-gu, and Chungbuk National University Attached Middle School respectively.
On this subject, an agency official states, “Ray and Maru have both greatly expressed their regrets at not being able to participate in many school activities because of their preparations for debut as well as because of their activities after debut. However, they are still very grateful for the support and understanding from their teachers and friends on their promotional activities as singers.”
“Currently C-CLOWN is resting from any official activities but because both Ray and Maru really wanted to lessen their disappointment in having to part with their teachers and friends, Ray and Maru have decided they really wanted to meet up with their teachers and friends in order to take look back on their fond memories. We have rescheduled their photo shoot so they may participate in their graduation ceremonies,” the agency official goes on to explain.
Ray comments about his graduation, “It seems like it hasn’t really hit me quite yet, but I feel like it’ll feel more real when I actually attend my graduation ceremony and have to say my final goodbyes to everyone. But despite all of that, I am nervous but still happy at the thought of becoming an adult.”
In addition, Maru adds, “It’s disappointing that I didn’t get to do a lot in my school life. But when I go to high school I will work hard so I can be fully satisfied with my results in school and my extracurricular activities.”
Last November Ray and another C-CLOWN member, Siwoo, both took the college entrance exams together and have both recently been accepted (at a competitive rating of 1100 : 1) into an university. They will both be entering JangAn University under the Music Department. Also, the mere fact that “youngest male idol” Maru (who has just graduated from junior high school) is planning to attend Heungduk Senior High School in Cheongju has also become a hot topic.
In other news, after wrapping up promotions for their second mini-album’s “Far Away…Young Love” C-CLOWN is scheduled to appear in the upcoming broadcast of the ‘Idol Athletics and Archery Championships” for the Lunar New Year holidays and is currently in full-swing preparations for their new upcoming album.
