Bakura: Do I look like I give a fuck about you?
Ryou: You’re holding my hand and gazing into my eyes.

Ryou stopped scanning to pay attention to the other male. He looked over the notes and picked them up, Licking at his dry lips. His mind was swirling. What if the other was right? What if that’s in fact what they needed? He knew, Almost, Exactly where it would be. I’m his elders room. His breath hitched in his throat as the thought. He wasn’t allowed to step foot in that room. Never. And he never wanted to. Not unless he was dragged in by force. He shuddered at the thought, Closed his eyes for a moment. He set the paper down with a shaky hand before shoving his hands inn his pockets to hide them from the other.
“I… I think I may have an idea” he swallowed hard. “But he can’t suspect a thing. He keeps the door to his room locked when he’s not home. He ‘works’ a few times a week and sometimes goes drinking” his thoughts racing, Difficult to keep purchase. “The next time he’s gone, I could pick the lock to his room and look around, See if I can find it. If so, I’ll come straight to your house. If not, I’ll text you… Uhhh… If you remembered what our history homework was. If I’m caught, Then i don’t know” he shrugged with a sigh, Rubbing the back off his head, Pursuing everything went in their favour.
“I know you want to get rid of him once and for all, but is this worth the risk? What if the millennium ring isn’t what we need? Maybe we should research this a little more...” Yugi knew that it was no good at this point. They had no other leads, and if it gave Ryou even the smallest chance of freeing himself from the spirit, he would take it.
“Isn’t it a bit odd that he leaves something as important as the millennium ring in his room? What if it’s a trap he puts out for you every day to see if you’ll try and take it? And if this spell doesn’t work...is it possible to just take the ring with you and run away? We can find you somewhere to stay temporarily until we think of something! We can even try to purify the ring so that no other evil can come from it!” He was coming up with every possible solution that would free Ryou from Bakura, but he also knew that if Ryou was gone, Bakura would flip the city upside-down just to look for him.
Hugging his notebook to his chest, Yugi leaned back in his chair and sighed in exhaustion from all the research he had been doing. “Maybe your father would know something...you know, since he gifted you the ring. He must have learned something about it from the seller. It’s possible, right?”

Ryou ran as fast as his feet would carry him, Checking his phone now and again and cursing under his breath. His eyebrows knit together as he tried to push himself faster, His backpack slapping against his back. He made it to school with three minutes to spare. He freshened up in the bathroom and headed for first period.
After school he headed to the new age store. He purchased some incense, A sage stick, And some new crystals before walking down the street to the library. He shoved his purchase in his backpack and looked around for Yugi. He smiled when he saw him, Waving and walking over. “Hey! You already get started?” he scanned over the upper part of the shelf.
“I was looking through the rest of the books. I’ve noticed that there’s a connection between them - the circle, the candles, the reading of the scripture. But there’s still one thing missing, and it’s vague. I wrote a few of them down.” He picked up his notebook where he wrote down certain passages that were worth remembering. “Source of great power, treasure of great energy, that which binds both good and evil....I can’t say for sure what this is, but-” he took a seat at the table, staring up at him with a worried expression. “I think it might mean something like the millennium ring. Bakura still has it secretly hidden away in your home, right? The millennium ring might just be what we’re looking for. But it’s too risky! Who knows what will happen to you if he finds out that you went looking for it!”
Yugi knew that the situation was dire, and at this point, Ryou would be willing to try anything. Even if the millennium ring was the key, he didn’t know what this ritual would do to Bakura. The best case scenario would be that he was sent away; the worst case would be that he remains in this world, but the evil within him is moved to another host. “Do you have a plan?”

That smirk always sent chills down his spine. He was grateful when the other had let go of him. He rolled his shoulders and neck a bit, But stayed it his spot. He didn’t want to push the other any further. He nodded in obedience.
Little did he know that he and Yugi had the same idea when it came to looking at books. But he always took notes and either gave them to the smaller teen, Or his them amoungest his school papers. He needed this man out of his life. And for good.
He swallowed at the noise emmited from the other male, Watching him carefully. He glanced at the clock behind the other. 7:50. He was going to be late. Again. He tried too calm his beating heart. “Yes sir.” He mumbled before running off towards his bedroom. He threw on a new shirt, Laced up his shoes, Grabbed a jacket and his backpack and ran through the living room towards the door
Bakura only had minor suspicions that his host was up to something, but didn’t think much of it. He was always home on time, and never acted strangely, so why should he worry? He had never bothered to look through his school notes either, which meant that any notes he had taken for Yugi were safe.
The spirit didn’t stay at home all day, like Ryou most likely assumed he did. Now that he had his own body, Bakura was free to resume his life as a thief, using his quick thinking and stealth to take money, precious jewels, and anything else of value from various businesses around Domino City. Ryou couldn’t be the only one making money, especially since he was still in school, and Bakura refused to have a discussion as to how and where he came into acquiring a vast amount of wealth.
Grabbing the house keys and his phone, he hurried out to head to his target destination, making sure he had enough time to get away and return home before his landlord got back.
At the library after school, Yugi was busy looking through various books on the occult, taking notes on particular pages that were of interest, and looking for connections between specific books. Everyone had been doing their part to help Ryou, but Yugi was the only one who could at least somewhat understand what Ryou was going through. Yami had always been kind towards him, and not once had he ever dreamed of getting rid of him. But getting rid of Bakura was a whole different battle; how could one get rid of a spirit that was watching your every move, and was also clever yet cunning in nature?
“Come on....there’s got to be something here! I must’ve covered half the library’s section. One of these rituals has to work, but what if something is missing?”

He felt little relief as the other seemed to calm down a bit. He tied at his wrists again. Still pinned. He clenched his jaw and swallowed hard. He could hear his heart in his ears. He dodged a bullet.
He watched as the other came close to him, Unable to purse his lips in time. He gasped at the sting, Blood trickling lightly down his lip and chin, Staining his shirt. How many clothes would he lose to this man? How much stain remover would he have to buy? He felt his lip throb in response.
“I just need to go to the library and the new age store down the street. And we really need some groceries.” He looked up at his elder through his fringe. “Is… That okay?” He tugged again at his wrists.
The fact that Ryou was honest and asking for his permission had put Bakura in a gracious mood. He smirked as he held his host against the wall for a few more seconds before finally releasing him. “I suppose that will be fine. But don’t forget your curfew, and don’t do anything else aside from the tasks at hand. I don’t think I need to remind you of what will happen if you don’t...”
Bakura’s relationship with Ryou was both complicated and unhealthy. The evil spirit acted as Ryou’s roommate, a questionable partner, and yet also treated Ryou as though he were still a child that needed supervision. Ryou’s friends were well aware of Bakura’s new role in his life, and were still hard at work, coming up with possible solutions to getting rid of the spirit for good. Yugi in particular would no doubt be at the library after school, searching for books on warding off evil spirits.
Checking the time, Bakura growled in annoyance. 7:50. Ryou had to head off to school. “Change your shirt before you leave. I don’t need that school calling here and asking questions again.”

Everything happened so quickly, In a flash. His elders words mushed together, Wind passing him by as he was easily turned around, His back slamming into the wall and his hands smashing above him. His head rushed, Body aching. He glimpsed the knife, Pulling at his wrists, Fingers forming into fists to no avail. His chest rose and fell quickly, Turning his head away from the cold steel as it shivered down his flesh. “You!” he buttered out. “You. I belong to you!” he swallowed hard, His heart slamming out of his chest. He looked at the other with fear in his eyes as he struggled against the others impeccable grip.
A feeling of calm washed over him at those words, and Bakura cautiously put away his knife as he stared into his host’s eyes, looking for any sign of defiance or sign that he was lying. His light was strong willed when he wanted to be, but the look in his eyes told him that he still feared him.
“Good. It’s about time that you’ve understood your place here.” Closing the distance between them, Bakura pressed his lips against Ryou’s, biting his lip before pulling away. Ryou was HIS, and he didn’t want him or anyone else to forget it.
“I’m not done with you. You still have to tell me where you plan on going today.” Bakura wanted total control over his host, even though they were no longer sharing a body. Going out with friends was unacceptable. Wandering around after school was unacceptable. Doing anything leisurely without him was UNACCEPTABLE.

He took in a sharp breath at the others words. He felt the grip on his arm tighten, Even though he had just grabbed. He felt I’ve chill trough his veins. He looked up at the other in complete shock and horror. He let out a yelp as the others nails dug into his flesh, His hand going to his to try to pry it off. He shrunk in just the slightest and shook his head at the others demand.
“I didn’t think you’d still have some fight left in you, Yadonushi. You’re just as stubborn as ever.” His smile became sadistic as he pushed Ryou over to the nearby wall, pinning his wrists above his head. “If you’d only just listen to your master, we wouldn’t have to go through this every bloody day!” Taking out the knife from his pocket, he playfully trailed the cool blade against his cheek. “You only get one last chance, Yadonushi. Now...who do you belong to?”

“What did you say?!” the spirit immediately turned and grabbed his host by the wrist, a dangerous look in his eyes as his grip tightened. “Now, why don’t we try that again? After all this time, ALL THIS TIME, you still haven’t figured it out?!” he snarled, his nails now digging into his wrist.

TINY YAMI BAKURA !!!!
He’s still a grouchy, old man with or without coffee…
//I finally decided to check on this blog after...2 years or so? (Or at least since May of last year when I sent a tumblr user the photos I took of them in their Bakura cosplay at a con)
So what have I been up to? I haven’t quit rping, not at all! I just branched out into other fandoms that I’ve been feeling a bit more passionate about, like I’m now rping as Yuuri from Yuri On Ice. Bakura’s blog existed since I was about 15, and I rped as him one year before I made this blog, so make that 14 years of age at least. I’m going to be 21 this year! How time flies!
Will I ever return to rping Bakura? Well, I haven’t lost muse, but the interest isn’t there as it used to be either. I certainly won’t be deleting this blog either because there’s far too many good memories on here and this blog was the start of my passion for rping. Maybe I’ll try creating new threads? -Shrugs- I’m not even sure who’s here and who isn’t haha
But yes, I’ll continue checking in on this blog from time to time! I still love my precious Kura <3 //
