Hello o/ This battleship I locked in on my tag combos and so they became #mymotifs for this tangtho series. The tags are:
Alt Fashion, AU - Dragons, AU - Soulmates, AU - Vampires, Celestial Imagery & Symbolism, Eclipse, Flower Language, Hanahaki, High Fashion & Couture, Piercings, Puppets, Rabbits, Stained Glass, Urban Fantasy, Whales
With optional candy gore set:
Anatomical Heart, Bleeding From Eyes, Bubble Tea, Candy Gore
This series is a spin-off/expansion on this pair of tangtho art I did last year. Since AU - Dragons and Candy Gore is on the same sqaure and AU - Vampires/Hanahaki the same board 🤗 I had to do it.
Fun details I like to think about:
Etho (as the rabbit puppet) is always depicted with open eyes
^his red string (of fate) is cut while Tango's was stuck on the cross
In the end the rabbit becomes alive and chews through the beast's strings. The beast open its eyes
Tango as the sun is eclipsed by Etho the moon
Roleswitch between the first and last art but with similar poses still; Tango comforting(?) Etho vs Tango wanting comfort from Etho
Also parallel-ish thing with the strings: in the first one, Etho's go back to his memory of when they first met, with Tango's own string visible. As for last, Tango's go outside the frame. While Etho's cut, not attached to anything, but what's left behind looked like a ring.
The outfits are from the 2nd one's stained glass panels.
