"Well, it's a pleasure, Inara. Was there something you needed?" He asked, more than a little weirded out by her appearance.

“Well, let’s just say. Nikki Heat’s in for one heck of an adventure.” Nodding slightly, a small grin tugged at his features. “Though, I am currently working on a new series. I can’t say too much just yet, but it’s gonna have more of a paranormal twist to it.”

“I’ll have to wait for it to be released and find out what this adventure is all about” She said, with a shake of her head. Aria had a tendency to let her curiosity get the best of her about things. She’d likely purchase the book the moment that it came out and spend hours reading it right through. “Paranormal? Does that sort of thing interest you?”

"I'll save a copy for you." With another nod, he slid his hands into his pockets. "It didn't used to, I'm more of a police murder mystery kind of guy, or a spy thriller, but lately, I've been getting into it. It doesn't help, that my daughter likes to leave her books on the coffee table."

“Of course.” He replied with a soft smile. “We can just drop in at a bodega, so we can get you home before he starts worrying.” Pausing, he chuckled. “It depends on who you ask, I’m an author, but my publicist will tell you, sit around in pajamas all day.”

"Mystery novels, mostly." With a slight nod, he ran a hand through his hair. "She's, oh wow, she's eighteen now. Away at college." Looking down, his smile softened. "Don't blink, one day, they need your help with homework, the next, they're helping you with your taxes."
