I’m very, very glad you decided I was worth a follow, but here’s a bit of a warning:

I am very Non-Committal, so I do tend to kinda vanish into thin air as and when I start getting overwhelmed?? I’m trying to work on it, but that coupled with my absolutely shitty memory makes it a lil difficult hahaha :(

I am, however, still going to be posting, just....with a few breaks in the middle

It's been a hot minute but I got SWAMPED with feels for AC Odyssey again and I got re-pissed off with the whole Brasidas fiasco. Anyway, it's nice to officially introduce myself 🥺💕

Alright. I finally did the Brasidas quest. Full Spoiler Warning, I'm about to get emo. MAN F THIS QUEST STRAIGHT UP. I have so many problems with this quest I can't even fit it into one message. I was just sobbing the whole time and I have decided to DISrespectfully discard it as a whole and call it a fever dream. The logic is soooo flawed. Brasidas did NOTHING wrong. Its not like he outright killed a baby. It was an ACCIDENT. And its not like Spartans have ever had problems with that before...

(Continued:)  (I thought id make it fit in one post I WAS WRONG) Plus here's the other flaw. Leonidas is in Elysium. You mean to tell me he never ONCE accidentally killed someone? That his actions NEVER ended with the death of an innocent? Hell, we play a Mercenary who kills people who probably don't deserve it ALL THE TIME. I guess Alex/Kass are gonna be doomed to HELL as well cuz they're 100% more guilty than honorable and kind and strategic Brasidas. 🙃 This quest doesn't exist. Brasidas is in paradise. 

I fully support you in this endeavour.

But even that’s extremely flawed because no??? It was an accident!! That’s not what Brasidas is about and they KNOW it >:(

I get that Leonidas was an honourable Spartan who died on the battlefield etc etc, but so did Brasidas??? Where’s the logic I-

Ight so my DUMB ASS is so pissed. (Spoilers beware but also you might wanna know this cuz I sure wish I had) I wasted sooooo much time reloading and replaying the Elysium quest for NOTHINGGG. I didnt realize that no matter who you chose, you'd get to see both in the underworld. I had reloaded and chose Brasidas, then did like, more than half the quest just to get back and find Phoibe. And then see Brasidas So then I reloaded AGAIN (without doing Brasidas yet cuz no way am I letting Leonidas die)

(I'm pasting the second ask here for e-z reading): (Continued, I got a bit more to rant lmao) But yeah basically I wanted the best ending i could have, even if it didn't matter, so once I saw that you'd get to see both loved ones no matter what, I decided no way in hell am I gonna betray family, because it wasn't actually Persephone's doing, so why should I help? So all in all I playedbthe ending of Elysium at least 5 times trying to get a good ending for no reason. RIPPPPPP. But now I gotta go find Brasidas. And cry.

I went into it thinking you'd maybe come across an enemy or two (oh what an understatement that was), and then suddenly Phoibe??

And Persephone never does anything to have caused the meeting (except maybe throwing you into a giant pit), which, fair, after the ending, I wouldn't expect her to

But I still decided to try killing Leonidas to see what would happen and it was....the same

Idk why that's an option if they weren't going to actually do something with it, but I doubt there's much we can do about it now :/

Like, at the very least, if you did go down that path, after you're done with everything and you're back in ancient Greece, there could be a cut scene or something with you seeing the character you chose to save, proving that your choice did have a consequence, but nope :)

I have since updated my quest and MAJOR SPOILERS holy crap I was actually sobbing. I didn't do a ton, i met Elpenor (bitch) and then I FOUND THE PHOIBE QUEST. Holy cow I don't think anything made me cry harder. I want to go reload to see the Brasidas quest next and I'm torn. But wow this game is tearing me apart emotionally. Phoibe is so brave and strong. Im so proud of her 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The Phoebe quest was h e a r t w r e n c h i n g, especially when she doesn't remember you and then when she does she says "you weren't there" 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔

The Brasidas quest is also a destroyer of hearts, and Hades is a lil shit (but still hot)

POWER couple I ship it 😂😂😂 (potential spoilers and all that within this post, general warning) I reloaded the choice scene about 3 different times. Once I let Leonidas live and fight with us and I cried. And then I loaded again and killed him and SOBBED at doing it and then I DIDNT get to see Phiobe and Persephone chucked me into a pit and made me kill HER SWEET DOG. Homie I was soooo upset. But I just met Hades and thats about where I am. Also I really like the Ros=CerbeROS tie in. Clever 😱

I LOVE Hades; I mean, I'm a sucker for deep voices and his is just 👌👌👌

Killing Ros was the worst part in the whole game, he's such a sweetheart!! Following you around when he's near you, wagging his tail, and just generally being a lovely little critter

I mean, it definitely ties in with the killing Leonidas thing too, because that is also s terrible choice to make, but not the dog!! Leave the dogs alone!!
