My own venting(but anon): I don't believe any virtual avatar world games are safe to use; people take risks without realizing it. Playing IMVU, Secondlife, Sims, Skyrim, Dead by Daylight, Avakin Life, or any other similar game isn't safe and never will be. Do you want security on a game? Do you have a desire to feel safe/protected? You should find a kids' game for ages 12 and under because that's the type of game that would have security measures in place. I remember when you needed parental or guardian consent to play Wizards 101. The virtual fantasy world game for kids. Point of the vent is you shouldn't say crap about how unsafe you feel on IMVU when there's ways to make it safer or you could leave for something else. Second life isn't that much better than IMVU on the security/safety front. It's more expensive than IMVU too and you don't get free items at signup. I disabled my own IMVU account of 6 years and made a brand new one last month. It's been great starting fresh. Sorry, long rant. I used my middle name as my name on IMVU instead of my first name, but I do tell people it's me and what my old account was and why I disabled myself intentionally on a 6yr account. I also haven't slept in 3 days so idk if that contributes to this very messy unorganized anon submission vent. I have a project wayyyyy overdue :P

I'm sorry but did you really list sims as unsafe? It's literally a one player game the only thing that would be unsafe is exposing death and woo-hoo to children. Other than that aims would be the top safest avatar game out there.

Uhm. I can use code names for the people I want to vent about? I hope you will post this. Toaster constantly claims IMVU went to shit and has claimed to disable their account again. Toaster said they moved to SL. GreenBalloon explained to me how SL works and why it's significantly more costly than IMVU to play. Toaster can afford to play both games while me and GreenBalloon are sitting here eating Ramen for lunch, dinner and breakfast because we tried to play SL and within a week our bank account decreased significantly in what amount we had. I'm engaged to GreenBalloon, just call me PhoneCharger. Sorry these are bad code names. GreenBalloon is making me breakfast. Engaged INRL, but we both used/use IMVU and we tried SL. GreenBalloon and myself don't have the money to afford a game like SL, we can afford IMVU because IMVU is constantly giving us free shit with daily spins or random gifts from IMVU. Clothes, rooms, pets, etc. If we have a virtual ceremony, it will be on the cheap IMVU game instead of SL.

My own venting: The fact that someone literally unfriends you while you're dealing with serious health issues is mind boggling. I'm super pissed about it and triggered... thought he was someone I could go to. Turns out I was only there for him but when I need him he can't be bothered but make jokes about me might needing surgery. Mk I see you. Its been awhile since I did a venting myself...

I have a friend who can no longer get on imvu because they keep getting the error message "Sorry we can't get you in the room right now please try again later" However imvu should really look into that. It shouldn't rely on their users to have to factory reset their pc just for imvu to work properly again. He's tried uninstalling and reinstalling and its still the same message. I've had the message before usually logging out and logging back in fixes the issue but not in his case. He uses Client. Anyways i miss my friend but glad we can still chat on discord, too bad for you imvu, you can't keep friends apart ;p

i made my first room bundle but when i clicked submit/publish, it was a frozen page so i kinda clicked it again and again and now i suddenly have 19 bundles of the same room in my imvu shop and idk how that happened when i was only trying to do 1 bundle as its my first time. idk if anyone else has had anything embarrassing like that happen but i feel so fucked for that. i need VIP to keep creating so in a week or so it'll be gone i think? idk if shops stay up without VIP when the tier is high.... im 2 away from being a pro but i just started creating 2 weeks ago... how did this happen so fast? i thought id have to be VIP for months b4 i reach close to pro... could anyone tell me more about imvu creating and whats allowed to be created and what isnt?

Here is a detailed image on whats allowed and not allowed I got it off of their website. However if you lose vip your shop becomes hidden but if you have a link to your shop catalog people can find it that way but you still would start over on tiers. You lose your shop from being seen and you lose your tiers. Sorry.

im new to creating on imvu but im venting on myself cs im proud that i learned from yt how to make imvu hair textures and did it all on my own, i only made 2 hair textures but im proud of myself for learning how to do it on myself and not have someone else do it for me etc

I think I was seggually assaulted by an older woman on imvu but I'm not sure if it was maybe my own fault...? I'll start off by saying I joined imvu a lil over half a month ago so I am a noob but who cares because lots of people are playing the game too. I got a month of VIP for chatrooms and I have a dance club room that I made public and a woman comes in older than me and her avatar is uniquely designed and I comment on that and compliment her and she tells me that was sweet and if I keep it up she would show me what heaven was like and I said you're welcome and asked her if she knew anything about the radio or how to work it because I can't figure out how to put a streaming radio on and she totally ignored that and then told me she could make me tingle down there from erp and I asked what erp was and she told me it stands for 'erotic roleplay' and I said okay and tried to get back to the music question and then she touched my breasts and kissed my neck and I just stopped talking after that because I was speechless and confused. She left a while after asking me if I'm still there but I didn't respond and now I don't know if it was my fault or not... I didn't say no but she did come outta nowhere with that erp stuff I just didn't say anything

You did nothing wrong. She didn't ask you for your consent to be touched. I would have kicked her from the room to be honest, but that's just me. Never feel you have to keep people in your room if they don't make you feel comfortable. I'm sorry she didn't answer your question. I have no idea how the radio thing works otherwise I'd answer your question.

There's a lady on IMVU and other people are going around saying how that lady is terrified of me, weirded out by me, and thinks I give off "ick" energy... Here's the thing though.... We used to be friends, I gave her tutorials on creating and sent her links for the creators TOS. When she started creating name brand products, she was making GUCCI, Channel, LV, Fendi, Nike, Disney, Hello Kitty, etc I told her that she might get in trouble with IMVU staff if they catch on because they've been cracking down lately on IMVU creators and their products. I told her how they prefer people try making their own brand instead of using trademarked or brands that will sue IMVU and the users creating with their trademarks etc. She told me she didn't care and would do whatever she wanted, then she blocked me on IMVU and made one post about me on her next feed saying how I was overly obsessed with them. But yeah, they're one of my top repeat customers for my IMVU shop, this lady buys items from my shop and she uses real credits, she also paid me to make her a few custom pieces and I did. She still purchases products from my IMVU shop. I don't own any of her IMVU shop products, but when I check my creator reports, there she is as a repeat customer dating back to the start of 2024. I don't think she's weirded out, afraid, or any of the stuff people have been saying she feels about me. If she was, why would she purchase so much and so often from me? She's supporting my IMVU shop all the time.... I don't create the kind of products she does, I won't do name brands, I spend hours on my brand.

One of my many NYE resolutions was to be kinder to strangers on the internet, so in honor of trying to keep at least one resolution, I won't be revealing the bait Tiffani/Rose emailed me. I know she would be terribly triggered if I posted all the awful things she said about one person in a particular email addressed to me. I am also being kind in not disclosing the victim's name. I hope everyone can learn to be a little kinder to strangers online. You never know what the other person is going through, and you might never know because trust is earned, not given freely.

i'm being cyberbullied and stalked by some girl my age group on imvu and i was shown your blog and idk maybe i thought i could do a lil vent session bc i just feel down and scared more bad stuff could happen.... i joined last month and met some incredible people but i also met one girl around my age and she seemed really nice at first and she mentioned how her bf cheated on her and i felt awful bc ik what its like to be cheated on and we got to talking and became besties and then i got an email someone tried to log into my imvu account from a entirely different country from where i am and i noticed the location bc imvu when you have 2step setup, it gives the IP address and location of the person tryna log into your imvu, so i noticed it was the place where that girl said she lived with her boyfriend so the next day i tried to log in my imvu and she hacked my account and i had to make a new imvu account and talk to imvu staff and prove my identity just to regain my imvu account and she messed up my account so much by buying the ugliest clothes and anyway i got my account back but imvu banned her account and she made 2 new accounts and started bullying me and accusing me of getting her banned but im not staff so how could i have been the one to ban her? shes really mean and she thinks being cruel makes her a baddie but thats not a good thing. i wish she would leave me alone and stop talking smack about me on her imvu next feed. i want peace.

So I recently left my fiance, and he kept stalking my tiktok so I had no choice but to block him on tiktok. Now his mom is also stalking my tiktok. Once my stuff arrive from them shipping it here I will be blocking his mom on my tiktok as well. They need to let me live my life and move on from them. I am currently happy with the new living situation I am living in.
