Awang Haji Besar bin Awang Sagap@ Pengiran Ibrahim bin Pengiran Sagap was a prominent Bruneian composer and musician, best known for his contribution to Brunei's national anthem, "Allah Peliharakan Sultan".

At the time of the anthem's creation, Awang Besar was employed by the Public Works Department under the British Military Administration.

In 1947, a group of young Bruneians initiated the movement for a national anthem, inspired by similar developments in other nations. This led to the selection of Awang Besar and Pengiran Muhammad Yusuf to create the piece; Awang Besar composed the music, while Pengiran Muhammad Yusuf penned the lyrics.

The song gained traction after being performed by members of the Barisan Pemuda (Youth Front) during their first anniversary celebration on April 12, 1947. After undergoing several revisions and being taught in Malay schools in Brunei Town, "Allah Peliharakan Sultan" was officially adopted as the national anthem in 1951, following the coronation of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III in 1950.

The Grave of the late Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Musa bin Hitam located at the Tambing Pehin Kampong Limbongan Muslim Cemetery, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The late Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Musa bin Hitam began his career as a member of the Brunei Police Force in 1941 at the age of 21. While still serving with the police force, he was bestowed the Pehin Manteri title of Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Dewa in 1963.

In his role as Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Dewa, his duty was to oversee the development and management of the electricity and water supply, as well as to conduct studies on related issues to be presented to the Sultan as advisory counsel.

After retiring from the police force in 1966, he became self-employed as a registered contractor. Later in 1979, he was appointed as the Village Head (Ketua Kampung) for Kampung Sumbiling. Subsequently, he was also appointed as a Member of the Municipal Board.

Throughout his life, he was honored with various State Decorations and Medals of Honour, including the Most Honorable Order of the Crown of Brunei Second Class (D.P.M.B) which carries the title Dato Paduka, the Omar Ali Saifuddien Medal (P.O.A.S), the 1962 Campaign Medal, the Pacific Star, the Long Service Medal, and the Defence Medal.

He passed away on June 3, 1984. He was laid to rest at the Tambing Pehin Kampong Limbongan Muslim Cemetery, Bandar Seri Begawan.

The Grave of the late Pehin Datu Panglima Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Awang Jambol, located at Sugan Muslim Cemetery, Pekan Tutong, Tutong District. Pehin Datu Panglima Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Awang Jambol (1897–1976) was an influential aristocrat, civic leader, and civil servant from Brunei's Tutong community. He was born in Kampung Suran in 1897, and though he lacked a formal education, he carved out a successful career in governance starting in 1929, later rising to the position of Tutong District Officer. Between 1953 and 1954, he played a key role in Brunei's political development as a member of the Tujuh Serangkai committee, traveling to both towns and villages to gather citizens' views on the upcoming constitution.

In recognition of his services, he was first granted the title of Pehin Penyurat, and was later elevated to Pehin Datu Panglima on 5 September 1974.

The Grave of the late Pehin Datu Indera Setia Mejar Jeneral (B) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Awang Damit, located at Sugan Muslim Cemetery, Pekan Tutong, Tutong District, Brunei. A distinguished aristocrat and military officer, the late Pehin Dato Sulaiman bin Haji Awang Damit (1941–2016) commanded the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) as its second commander from 1990 until 1994, and subsequently served as Brunei's ambassador to Egypt between 1995 and 1998.

The Grave of the late Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Setia Negara Pengiran Dr. Haji Mohd Yusuf bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahim (2 May 1923 – 11 April 2016), at Sengkarai 'B' Muslim Cemetery, Kampong Sengkarai, Tutong District. The late Pengiran Haji Mohd Yusof, also known by his literary pseudonym Yura Halim, was an influential Bruneian aristocrat, diplomat, educator, and writer. Throughout his distinguished public service career, he served as State Secretary (1964–1967) and later as the country's third Menteri Besar (1968–1972). His diplomatic career included appointments as High Commissioner to Malaysia (1995–2001) and Ambassador to Japan (2001–2002), followed by a seat on the Legislative Council from 2011 until his death.Alongside Marsal Maun and Pengiran Muhammad Ali, he was part of the "Three Musketeers," a trio of nationalist figures who challenged British colonial authority. Through his involvement with the Brunei Malay Teachers Association (PGGMB), he actively resisted colonial control in the 1950s. An atomic bomb survivor (hibakusha), his legacy spans governance, international relations, and literature, highlighted by authoring Brunei's national anthem, Allah Peliharakan Sultan, and receiving Hiroshima University's first honorary doctorate awarded to a Bruneian.

The grave of the late Pehin Orang Kaya Udana Laila Dato Setia Inche Awang Abdullah @ Raden Mas Abdullah bin Raden Mas Hanafi, or known as "Enchi Awang" at Sugan Muslim Cemetery in Pekan Tutong, Tutong District.

"Enchi Awang" was a prominent 20th-century nobleman and leader born in the 1880s. From 1927 to 1945, he served Tutong as both its district officer and religious judge (kadhi). In these roles, he drove major improvements in local infrastructure and public welfare. Locals remembered him as a dedicated leader who guided the district through a critical period of modernization.

Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin granted him the title Pehin Orang Kaya Udana Laila in 1941. By 1950, the Sultan elevated him to the prestigious role of Datu Penghulu, placing him in charge of all regional penghulus and village chiefs.
