NO, YOU DON'T MOVE ME ANYMOREE.

Amazing song. Sounded so so good live at Laneway hehe.
-Avery
Just saw this at Laneway yesterday. SOUNDS SO AMAZING LIVE.

You're screaming, and cursing, and angry, and hurting me. And then smiling, and crying, apologizing.
Epilogue, The Antlers
The single most heartbreaking, tragic, psychotic, yet beautiful album ever. Plug in your earphones, ignore the world for 50 minutes and just listen to every word and every beat of this album. You'll literally feel like Peter Silberman is in front of you, crying while telling you his story.
EVERYBODY NEEDS TO TAKE 50 MINUTES OFF TO LISTEN TO THIS ABLGABVBWIGBPAGUGHHHH.

Sohrab the awesome bugger linked me this. So cheery and cute heh.

Drugs in my Body, by Thieves Like Us. I would consider it a very strange form of electro, very crystal-castles-ish. Love the song's morose defeatist lyrics though.
-Avery
In contrast to the previous one, quite a morose song.
-Avery
Cheerful and bubbly. (:

To make up for the previous post, here's a beautiful song I found when I was on a plane: Towers by Bon Iver.
-Avery
I'm really sorry this is not indie, but I'm so hooked to this right now.

Kasabian - Vlad The Impaler
New find: Kasabian!! So groovy. I love this.

Heard this courtesy of the awesome Sohrab. The opening few bars are enough to get you completely hooked to it for the rest of your life.

The Smiths - Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want
Oldie but a goodie!
To die by your side, is such a heavenly way to die ~
Heard this when I was out yesterday. Super cheery~

This song is going on my winter playlist. It reminds me of type of instruments The Paper Kites use in their songs, while having the vocals you’d find in a Fleet Foxes song. It’s pretty soothing, and perfect for driving through rain or snow.
