This is very good. Just want to add that “not being ready” implies the default is being sexually active or that’s a goal that should be reached. It’s okay to like.. just not want to have sex, it doesn’t necessarily mean you “aren’t ready” and should take steps to “be ready.” Not wanting to be sexually active is good and okay for whatever reason you have.

If you’re Christian and mentally ill, please remember that a lot of “positive, uplifting Christian quotes” are oversimplified.

“If you walk with God, you’ll never be afraid again!”? Oversimplified.

“Don’t complain you’re depressed when your bible is closed!”? Oversimplified

The symptoms of your illness don’t mean you fail at being a Christian. They are just that, symptoms. Being depressed or being anixious don’t make you a bad Christian, the same way a runny nose or a belly ache don’t make you a bad Christian.
