Being a woman would be fucking great if it wasn’t traumatizing to me. I’d love to not have to go through all this but unfortunately I have to. I tried to be happy about being a girl. I was even a radfem for a few years! But that doesn’t fix it. Nothing does until you bite the bullet and do what you need to do. For most, that is transition.

That's not how dysphoria works tho. We know we're our birth sex. That's why we have dysphoria. No amount of talk therapy telling us to wake up or stop believing in that shit is gonna get our dysphoria to vanish. I literally have a therapist lmao. It is just venting and telling me that it'll be okay and ways to cope with it. No amount of "You're a woman. Be proud of it." is gonna make me one

My grandma was saying trans women can’t be real women because they couldn’t give birth so I reminded her that she couldn’t have children for most of her adult life until she got a survey to fix her messed up uterus and also reminded her that I have that same thing (endometriosis) and have a 30-40% chance of not being able to ha e kids either.

I read somewhere about how trans women on estrogen do get cramps monthly and other period symptoms just like someone on their period more than likely would, But I just wanted to kinda say that they might not have exactly a period (bleed) but they do get the same symptoms (bloating,chest tenderness, cramping, headaches, acne, etc) as a woman on her period would get monthly.
