Ok so, every now and then I’m struck with the urge to make an “about me” post. So today I give into this urge.

I’m Lynn Starr. I won’t share my age here because people have seen it before and mocked me for it. Just know I’m old enough. I prefer not to interact with minors.

I’m neurodivergent, diagnosed with some things, highly suspecting of others. No insurance means no further digging into my brain. Thanks America.

I’m currently mostly into supernatural and good omens. I love DESTIEL and I love it unapologetically. It’s literally the license plate on my car. I’m heavily a Misha fan.

I both love and dislike the Good Omens finale. So I’ll reblog things both against and in favor of the ending. I try my best to tag “#anti go 3” and “#effable husbands” but, no promises that I’ll remember every time.

No citizens of any country are somehow inherently bad or evil because of their government. Full stop. That includes Russian citizens, Israeli citizens, Palestinian citizens, Chinese citizens, Iranian citizens, North Korean citizens, etc.

Everyone in this world is just living their lives, each with their own complex needs and desires and interests and emotions. They all have hobbies and friends and families and favorite foods. They all have their own motivations and varying political opinions and views on their governments. They all weigh the risks of standing out or speaking up and they all make their own decisions about that.

They all fear the same in times of danger. They all feel grief and pain and terror the same. They all love and hate and bleed the same.

They are people. They are no different from anyone else, they are not monsters or caricatures or nameless bodies in videos. Complexity and humanity are not exclusive to your country, to people like you.

Okay I know that the centering of romantic relationships is a real and present problem for aromantic/asexual/aroace people (including me!) but for the love of all that is fictional Eva Stratt was talking about dependence!!!! In fact, the line about not having a dog is going beyond a traditional partner-centered view on who relies on him!!!

What she said: “You have no immediate family. You don’t even have a dog.”

What this is inclusive of: Grace not being able to go because he has a parent, sibling, spouse, child, niece, nephew, or pet who relies on his presence to survive

What this is, admittedly, not inclusive of: Grace having a friend who relies on him to survive

What she is NOT saying: You deserve to die for not having a partner or pet

I need every single person to understand how horrible tumblr’s tagging system is

I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.
