welcome to my little side project!

this blog is a collection of blackout poetry i've created out of one of my least favorite books, Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. occasionally, i might upload other poems i've written, but it's mostly going to be me scribbling in a book i loathe.

snatch the light ready the shot they followed me

here her pounding right for us like a black cloud churning up the river

in the river out of sight the raft sank

#blackout poetry #my writing #poetry #the cadence in the first two lines gets stuck in my head #and i think the last two don't do it the proper justice it deserves

they stopped i stopped promptly i tried to brace for the infernal wind

no show for freedom

lightning set down again

watching

trembly and feverish

close enough to hear
